The other thing that really gets me is this - Abby's soccer career - her experiences, insights, reflections, opinions, etc, are frequently devalued by Glennon, who has, to absolutely NO ONE's surprise, made it ALL about Glennon and her stupid "the soccer" commentary. Glennon even - for some inexplicable reason - appeared alongside Abby on Tobin and Christen's RE/cap podcast recently because Glennon cannot just let Abby go share her unique and well-earned insights ABOUT SOCCER without hovering nearby and basking in Abby's fame & success. Control, devaluation, manipulation, fits of rage, sabatoging big moments, making it all about Glennon, etc. It is classic narcissism and yet no one seems to see it for what it is.

Even when some male soccer star was lauded on Twitter for some record, G had to respond about "her wife" matching his record in her league. Like, G, I don't know, let the guy celebrate his moment. Don't constantly insert yourself into every conversation, using Abby as per usual.

Abby should write a memoir titled "Tamed" because that is what G has done to her.

G is a mentally unhinged woman who needs a better therapist, or to quit therapy and just try to be a better person. If you can "do hard things," why can't you close a cabinet door? Or put a cap on a tube of toothpaste?
I heard a podcast recently where a philosophy professor at DePaul was lamenting a lack of moral ambition among people anymore. G can't walk her talk.

Poor Abby. Who on earth would want to be in a relationship with Glennon? Of course, Glennon can't go for a garden-variety gal-it has to be an Olympian. Abby looks like a cute boy from a Scandi pop group, so Glennon got her perfect guy. She's basically a closeted heterosexual.

Didn't her sister's marriage end, too?

It seems like she is getting desperate for attention again. Faux virtue signalling isn't working for her so she's back to casually showing/flexing that she knows/hangs out with/is friends with famous people.

Also, she pretends she thinks white privilege is a bad thing, but then her daughter gets to jump ahead of all the other equally talented singers because of G's privilege and connections.

I have so many thoughts about Glennon regarding fame and all the privilege that comes with it. I think it's her true underlying addiction and she doth protest about it too much!

I spit out my coffee laughing at her clip from the interview with Pete Buttigieg where she says to encourage people to vote her way by saying something like "Do you love ME...because this election is about ME....." I didn't get the sense Buttigieg was drinking the Doyle kool-aid.

I think they have all meshed into one and aren't really separate individuals anymore. I thought of Amanda as level-headed and accepting of others, yet she tells this story on the latest podcast of one friend confiding in her that someone in their friend group voted for Trump and this made Amanda question the friendship. Apparently they all have to think alike to be friends and it's fine to throw one friend under the bus for a podcast. Then Abby is filled with rage toward men because Trump won. Seriously? Every man? Glennon wants to move to some lawless land for a while and nobody questions this with "WTF are you talking about?" That is an extreme statement...no? They just enable eachother and provide an echo chamber. They seemed more grounded, open-minded and individuated in the early days of the podcast. I am not a fan of Trump, but they are basically doing what he did-spreading hate and division.

I think this is sponsored and she's getting something for allowing the campaign to use her platform as one giant political ad - Glennon is not the only one for sure - but aren't they supposed to disclose that they're partners or paid posts?

Were they paid by the Harris campaign to promote, interview and be part of the fundraising Zoom? Does that need to be disclosed anywhere? Harris spent over a billion dollars and ended up in debt from paying real celebrities to perform, building a podcast set and all sorts of things. Wonder if she paid influencers, etc and if the trio got any of that $$.
