Thank you to the anon who posted the Mosaic site earlier in the thread. I went and did the assessment and scored a 7 out of 10. I've known something has been off in my marriage but this cemented it. Don't know what my plan is next, but that really opened my eyes. First step: counseling. I have made an appointment for early next month.

What her social media shows is a compete divorce from reality. They filed for bankruptcy with over 400K in debt three years ago and were facing a lawsuit from their HOA for unpaid fees. And yet: - She’s running a MLM scam which COSTS money to ‘join’ - Is traveling multiple times a year at personal expense - Has two cars - Has two kids - Is pregnant with a third - Has a 2K month mortgage - Has no solid job I can only think it’s a wonder he didn’t snap sooner. |
This situation reminds me of the father in Oregon who killed the wife and later the two boys. That haunted me for a while. |
Geez, really? You think anyone with bad finances and kids should be considered at risk of being murdered by their spouse? That's not a reason to "snap" and murder your whole family. It's just not. He, too, made choices that led to them having a $2k mortgage, two cars, three kids. It's not like these are things she did to him. |
What was his girlfriends name? |
+1 and women don't usually kill by a means as up close and personal as strangling. |
How long were they married? |
The finances are appalling and makes me realize there was something also very wrong with the wife. |
What state/town/neighborhood is this? Do mean. |
Financial problems do seem to make some men murder their whole families. There are many instances of this. |
Yeah, they probably should have divorced if it was stressing him out so badly. Killing his pregnant wife along with their small children was cold blooded as hell. |
How do you even GET a mortgage so soon after a bankruptcy?? |
So that means it's acceptable to kill her and the little girls? Wtf |
WHY do the finances mean there's something wrong with the wife? Clearly they both made terrible financial decisions. Most women join MLM schemes because they believe it will make money - an extremely poor decision, but not one that should get her murdered, and we have no idea that she did that against his will. There are photos of him with her at the events, wearing the t-shirts, wearing the damn patches. Also there apparently was a video floating around wherein she discussed how much HE wanted the third child. And in her pregnancy reveal (to him) video, he comments to the effect "I guess if you want it, it happens." Why people are putting all of this on HER, when they SHARED the finances, the cars, the house(s), the bankruptcy, the kids, is just just me and I find it stunning. This shit was not just her fault. They both made terrible decisions together. That he murdered her and their innocent children is really unrelated. That's not a normal response to having bad finances! |
^I think the PP said there was *also* something wrong with the wife. I don't think they were saying that she was the sole cause of all of their financial problems or that she, in any way, deserved to be killed for being bad with money.
But, yeah, she was terrible with money, so was he. Their finances were in shambles, yet again. Nobody deserved to die over it. |
