Do you judge other women’s engagement rings?

Anonymous
No. Maybe it I am constantly sitting somewhere with them where I see their hands (meetings) or they are unusually large, I will notice but I don't really draw conclusions about it.
Anonymous
No. I like big rings. But I don’t like to wear them so I told my husband to not buy one for me. ( I had one, a cheap small one, and I lost it, lol. So no more)

How do you define high net worth?

Net worth’s over $25 million.

Um, no. There are recognized standards for this and yours clearly isn’t it.

$25 mil works for me. And most people who have ever lived on the planet.

I think a lot of the posts on here are social media marketing campaigns, probably by bots.

It's part family heirloom/part reset. I did not wear it much in my 20s but now in my 40s I am enjoying it daily on my right hand. My wedding band is a Cartier Trinity Classic.

You are so insecure that you dug up a 3 year old thread just to boast about you 9ct heirloom ring that you wear only on your right hand

Is obvious this thread was started by somebody who just wanted to stir stuff up, but I'll play. I notice rings, but no judgment, whether it's big or small. My own ring is less than one carat and on each side is a small sapphire. I love my rank. But, I very rarely wear it. I typically just wear my very thin band wedding ring. I only wear my engagement ring if I'm trying to be a little bit more fancy for like a party or something. But day to day. Never wear it.

I do think it's interesting to see how many women I know who bought a second, much bigger diamond later in the marriage to replace their original ring.

No. Never wear mine actually; just wear my simple wedding band which I love.
Anonymous
No. but they may judge me, I suppose? I just wear a very simple silver band.
Anonymous
I don't judge because why would I? If it's big and pretty I notice, if it's big and ugly I notice but otherwise I don't pay much attention.

Yellow diamonds look like they were soaked in urine.

No. And I’m old enough to know that reason diamonds suddenly got so much bigger is that they’re lab created and now the same amount of money buys a stone three times the size. I think that’s great - no conflict. And if I weren’t around newly engaged couples all the time, I wouldn’t even notice rings at all.

I agree. I got engaged ~15?years ago and we spent a pretty penny for a modest (1.25 ct) ring that I still love. But it was $$ because it was a mined Diamond. Would have loved getting something bigger for less money! I think about how much of a waste it was now
