What's the creepiest/weirdest thing you've ever seen?

I felt a hand grip my leg and squeeze tightly. I loudly said "Ok, I'll stop reading cut it out!" I thought it was my sister or mom that snuck in my room. Instead of letting go they squeezed more tightly. I rolled my eyes and threw back the covers to find no one. The door was heavy and made noise if you opened and closed it, but it was still shut and locked (i was a tween and locked my door at night to avoid my sisters jumping on me to wake me up). You could see if the door was locked from the bed. I was so freaked out I ran to my sisters' rooms to see if they had somehow grabbed my leg, but they were both sound asleep. My parents were also sound asleep. I turned on every light in the house and no one else was there. I was then extremely afraid.

The next morning I told our housekeeper who told me that the house was supposedly haunted by the spirit of a man who had been murdered after one of his employees discovered he had molested their daughter. The house and grounds were gorgeous but I never felt comfortable there again. I was not sorry when my parents sold the place a few years ago and never stayed there by myself.

I don't want to rain on your spooky story parade (it's probably true!) but that also sounds like it could have been a brief episode of sleep paralysis. It happened to me once and I felt a very strong pressure on my chest, couldn't move, and "felt"/mentally saw a terrible witch sneaking up behind me in my bed.

Not oP, but if you read through it, you'll notice she wasn't even asleep in the first place, for this to be sleep paralysis

I was the poster of this story. I have tried to convince myself many times it was sleep paralysis, but I was not asleep. I was reading Anne of Avonlea with a flashlight and didn't even feel tired!

Not exactly creepy, but rather weird. i was living in Washington and involved in an on/off again long distance relationship with a guy in New York. I was in my early 20s, not happy with how things were going but still felt very attached and unable to let go. One evening when we were talking on the phone he mentioned that he was going to be in Baltimore for a very quick work trip but would not have time to get down to D.C.

Because i was feeling so attached and, yes, a little desperate, I got in my car one evening and drove to Baltimore. i wasn't doing this in a stalkerish way ... I just needed to go out and do something. I did not know Baltimore at all ... I just sort of drove to the downtown area ... I did not even know the exact days he was going to be there or where he would be staying.

Anyway, when I parked my car and started walking around, i ran straight into this man. I've often thought since then about the things we call into our lives. No, it didn't work out, but I was so focused on him then.

For the first and only time, the speakers played what sounded like a decades old radio transmission about friendship and best friends. These were regular computer speakers 9 years ago, not wifi or anything that would catch radio waves.

When I was in college, my boyfriend and 3 of his friends were in a terrible car accident. One good friend, John, died within 72 hours. My boyfriend's best friend died a week later. My boyfriend held on for 3 weeks in the ICU. The night that that my boyfriend died, I was getting ready for bed and I saw John standing at the end of my bed. He told me that my boyfriend was going to die tonight, and that he had waited for him. John said that it would all be okay. My boyfriend died about 3 hours later. I got the call the next day to tell me that my boyfriend had died.

I'm mostly an atheist, but I can't be completely an atheist because I saw John after he was dead and he told me that my boyfriend would die that night. I don't what's out there, but John told me it was all okay.

I'm sorry for your loss OP.

But I gotta say this - you are either atheist or you're not. you can't be a fair-weather "believer".

When I was in high school, a few friends and I were out at a lake. We were laying on the dock looking up at the stars one night and we all saw tiny specks of light that zig zagged across the sky. We thought they may have been satellites but when I've told other people about it they just give me a strange look and tell me that satellites don't move like that.

I'm an atheist on the God issue.

I am agnostic on the life after death issue. I am just not sure what happens after death. Maybe I hallucinated all that. Maybe I saw a ghost.

This happened when my DD was about 2.5yo. She was in the bathtub, just playing and talking to me about anything and everything. She asked how old I was, and then she said, "Before, I was a big girl too." I asked what she meant by "Before". She said, "Before. When I was a big girl and was in a car. The car went boom and had a big fire. Then I was a baby and came here." She was so matter of fact about it, it was creepy as hell.

I have a very distinct memory of looking into a mirror when I was about 4 and marveling to myself about my "new" face and that I was actually here.

My DD is always talking about her grandpa, one lives overseas and she's never met him. The other she met once when she was 6 months old.

Yesterday she said her grandpa found me in a box, and I was crying and he took me away. She also said grandpa got killed in a car crash.

I had a dream that felt like a memory of a past life. I think I was a prostitute. One man held me from behind while another slit my throat with a pair of scissors. I woke up screaming.

I have always had a weird thing about nothing touching my neck - hate turtle necks, don't like the hairdresser's tight cape buttoned around my neck. I feel panicky if anything touches my neck.

The dream felt so real.

Lots of reincarnation stuff here! Fascinating.

This ones not creepy but weird. I grew up in India and a custom in Hindu households is to light a lamp for the Gods/deities everyday, morning and evening. On certain weekdays ( Thu , Fri at my house) my mom would also keep an offering of fruit normally bananas. Almost all houses have a Puja or worship room, & since ours was in the process of being built, my mom used a cupboard in an extra room as her temporary worship room. So a strange thing continued to happen every Thursday, Friday. She would light the lamp as usual, keep a bunch of big bananas ( usually 4-5 , always in a connected bunch) and leave the room. Within a minute the bananas would be gone.. Just gone. At first she thought it was us kids, but it continued to happen even when we weren't around. She would look under the cot and everywhere else, but nothing. No sign of them. The windows were always shut tight. she'd even lock the door behind her but it continued to happen every week, like clockwork, the minute she walked out of the room. It was a source of great mystery for all of us kids, since it was happening right before our eyes. We didn't have pets, there was no possibility of a rodent coming in and this was a big bunch of bananas! So what the heck was happening?
My brave and crazy uncle( who we greatly admired, btw) who was a bachelor at that time and living with us, decided to investigate. He slept under the cot as my mother lit the lamp, placed the bananas and walked out. He waited for almost 30 mins and nothing happened. They didn't move from there. He came out of the room and went back to check, multiple times. They continued to stay there. And guess what , that was the last time the bananas disappeared. Baffling to me, to this day!

These two stories are wigging me out. Apparently when I was a kid I did and said a lot of things that led my parents and grandparents to believe I was reincarnated. These were religious people but they couldn't reconcile the things I said and knew with my age and life experiences. I had forgotten those memories until reading this post.

I totally believe in "reincarnation" but in cases when someone passes and what they were put here on earth to do is not yet completed, or they have not yet learned all the lessons they need to learn.
