| I live in Pimmit Hills (and I love it). But I think I'm going to start calling it Southwest McLean or East Vienna just to see people's heads explode. |
| Oh I know people who claim PH is in McLean and one who claimed it was Falls Church City. You would not be the first. |
I'd only do so sarcastically. I love PH and am proud that we've got our own thing going on. |
| I know a person who said he lives in McLean, only to find out he lives in Tysons. I guess there used to be some wiggle room on that before 2011, but not anymore now that they have their own mailing address. |
+1 PH is awesome. Location, location, location. And the people are nice, too. |
Don't get too carried away. It doesn't always end well. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/local/wp/2016/04/28/man-in-possible-panda-suit-storms-fox-station-in-baltimore/ |
Winners are inside the Beltway or near Orange/Silver line. Great Falls is neither so it will keep languishing. |
I always thought of Pimmit as part of Mclean. Is it not? |
Oh god. Please be a joke. |
It abuts McLean. It is what most of certain parts of McLean probably looked like, not that long ago (before the "transplants - BAHAHA!). |
| pretty sure Pimmit has a Falls Church address, 22043, unless that's changed. |
| PH is no better than North Arlington. Not on par with McLean or GF. |
| Why does everything's about McLean turn into a PH or Arlington troll fest? Seriously, this thread is about GF and McLean and has nothing to do with PH or Arlington. |
Those two names have a nice ring to it. |
McLean had and still has some smaller, older homes, but it never had a development like PH with 1675 homes under 1200 square feet (many under 1000 SF). Both McLean/22101 and Falls Church/22043, however, have seen major appreciation over the past decade, like North Arlington and unlike Great Falls. |
