Woops, forgot the "belated". Forgot for a second how ridiculous most of you are. |
And yet you're still reading this "stupid" thread. Don't you have something "better to do"
|
Not right now, no
|
| Does anyone ever notice that Elizabethany is attending corporate events on a regular basis, interviews artists that come to DC, and other things outside of being on air, and Kane, John and Rose don't (or haven't in forever)? |
You do realize that the person (or people) who said this forum was 'sacred' were saying that because they don't want this thread to be a part of the DCUM forums anymore. So I guess joke's on you because you essentially just made fun of someone that is actually on your side. Also, I thought we already established that in fact, not all of us are moms, nor are we all middle-aged. I'm far from it, actually. So you should probably find another way to insult all of us, as I believe there are also a few men on the thread as well. One last thing. I'm a little confused why you would be saying that Danni's book shouldn't be extraordinary? Ok, so maybe calling it "extraordinary" is a little overkill, however, you can agree that she should at least intend on all of the parts of her book being good, and readable, correct? I mean, who flies all the way to London with the intention of writing a book that's a big bag of shit? That seems a little odd to me. I guess that if I were taking the time to write a book on my life, I would make sure I was putting the best of the best into it, and actually give readers something that lives up to all the hype she's been trying to create about this book for the last two months. But whatever. |
I can totally agree with that last paragraph. On my side? I don't have a side. |
| She's asking people if she should start a website now |
You seem to have a side when you're refuting every one of our opinions and calling us 'just a bunch of middle aged housewives'. The people who called the forum 'sacred' seem to share your same views, hence, me saying they're 'on your side'. |
Isn't she like the head station Program Director or whatever title? Like she is the one who gets to pick what music is played and such. K |
| Yikes...the style me bar people taught her how to do the makeup they do...........I don't think it requires looking in a mirror to put on |

Another "snippet"...
" So...I'm sitting in the British library, it's beautiful by the way and I thought...why not share a snippet? Here's the thing. this is all rough stuff and unfinished and unedited so just enjoy it for what it is. The final project WILL NOT disappoint! <3 "Despite being biracial, my mom has passed for white her entire life. I’ve heard stories of people treating her differently once they found out who her father was. I remember my grandma telling me about a time when she took my mom to school. The teacher told my grandma that my mom was a star student and so well behaved, “not like those black kids.” My grandma went along with the conversation, she asked the teacher if she had ever met Kathleen’s dad. When the teacher said no, Ma told her she would have him drop her off to school the next day. Can you imagine the look on the teacher's face when little white Kathleen walked in with her black ass daddy? Just the thought of it makes me laugh. The rest of the story isn’t so funny though. Once the teacher met my Pa, she started treating my mom just “like those black kids.”" |
I honestly don't think her makeup looks that bad. It's a bit heavy, but I've seen much, much worse. |
I knew what you meant by "sides". Just clarifying I'm not on a "side". These are not teams. This is getting too weird. |
This proves that deciding to write a book overnight does NOT make you a writer. |
Oh my god, and you say we nitpick? I'll clarify since I was apparently extremely wrong when I suggested "sides". That person was in agreement with you, and you made fun of them. Does that make it better if I say it that way? At the end of the day, you still trashed someone who shared your same view. Although I would be willing to bet that it was meant to be a bit tongue in cheek when the poster said the forum was "sacred". I think that if anyone actually thought these forums were that important, they're crazier than any of us. |
