Actually, I think Brandon and Teresa seem to have a good handle on gently dealing with C&T's crazy family. I don't feel bad for Future Carly--she's got it made. I see Future Carly telling Future Nova "Sorry you got stuck with them..."


Yeah, I agree that Brandon & Theresa are good parents for Carly. I hope she builds a very nice life for herself and views Tyler and Catelynn as distant cousins who mean well but somehow fuck up and/or have no inertia.

Yep, that's what I think too.

I thin they absolutely made the right choice to place Carly. And when she is an adult and watches the show she will think so as well.

It must be sad for Brandon and Teresa. It seemed way back when Carly was a baby that they felt they weren't only giving Carly a better life, but also Catelyn & Tyler. Now it seems like C & T wouldn't have achieved much with or without a teen pregnancy. It's not like they're more equipped to be successful parents now--no education or trade school, not great life choices.

It really says a lot about people growing up in lower SES homes. Even when given money that could be used for an education to get out of their lower class lives, most of them don't take advantage of it. Have any of the Teen Moms earned a Bachelor's degree?

There are girls from 16 and Pregnant that have, but not Teen Mom. Kail is supposed to graduate this Spring.
