Catelynn and Tyler are their own worst enemies. They placed their first daughter Carly for adoption, with a quiet, non-public couple. She is 15 or 16 now, and the adoptive parents have cut off contact with Catelynn and Tyler.

We (the public) don't know why but Catelynn and Tyler can't seem to stop spewing their anger and hurt publicly, which I am sure makes the parents more resolute in not wanting to interact with them.

C&T claim they keep speaking publicly so Carly will know they "never stopped fighting for her" but they SHOULD. They should send the adoptive parents a letter saying something about how they will always be open to any contact, pics, updates about Carly and will wait to hear from them/her.

And then focus on the three kids they squirted out after placing their first for adoption. Good grief.

I haven't thought of any of these people in years, but didn't the adoptive parents agree to specific visitation within an open adoption. That's kind of a mean way to discuss the other children. I would think that the adoptive parents would want to support some kind of relationship with siblings. Even if they don't care for the way they are being raised, the one way to make certain their daughter will gravitate to them is to make them forbidden fruit.

Yep. Married someone else and seems to be in a loving stable marriage that is not dependent on MTV income -- I believe he's an engineer; I think has 3 kids with him, 4 total -- he treats her kid just like his own first kid. They just built a huge custom home together. And then after like 11-12 seasons she said enough and is off MTV; likely MTV wanted her off too because her life is really pretty conventional and boring now just like every suburban family in America. She didn't keep the drama going in her life just to stay relevant to MTV.

Yes they are on HGTV and doing quite well.

Maci tried her best given she had to deal with Ryan and his enabling crap parents.

C & T horrifyingly bad. Everyone around them bad. The fact they kept having kids just gross. The adoptive parents of their first daughter have alot of patience. There is no one in their world suitable to be around children. What do they do all day? Tyler never grew up. C should have moved on from him her life would have been better.

Amber trash full on trash and should not be in any of her kids lives. Gary at least tried.

Sophia should have been removed from Farrah who is mentally ill.

The one with the twins yes her girls will be pregnant and end up like her.

The show gave them all jobs I guess. Besides that should be ad for abortions. None of these people should have been parents not one. Their kids where tramatized for TV ratings.

Oh, wow! Hadn't thought of her in years. Glad she seems to be doing so well. I remember hoping she would turn things around and feeling optimistic she could do it because she had such a supportive Dad. She was really immature and her dad could sometimes be a touch enabling, but he really seemed to be pulling for her.

Amber ... the sad thing is, she's actually smart and could have made something of herself. Mentally ill AF and has leaned into being the victim, hard. I honestly did not see Gary and Kristina stepping up and raising Leah and am so glad to have been wrong about Gary. I do worry about him dropping dead of a heart attack though. He's 5'5" and a cop. If he ever has to run .... ?

Sophia - there's no hope for her with Farrah as a mother. I am guessing she will turn 18 and promptly sign up for Only Fans, to be honest.
Maci and her husband have done alright. She got an associate's degree, has written two books, she and her husband have a little clothing line.

It will be interesting to see if we find out what Carly decides at age 18 and has control over reaching out directly to C&T. Will she just view them as white trash hot messes? Or will she feel the same pull towards them that they have felt towards her? It's a shame nobody has counseled C&T to focus elsewhere, because there's no way that all the time they spend sitting around endlessly complaining for years about Brandon and Teresa is healthy. Will Carly respect that they sh*t-talked her parents?

Adoption is brutal to the birth parents. No woman can ever forget that she gave birth to a child.
They were used and exploited by the money hungry adoption agency.
They really had the impression that they would remain in contact with the family and have a wonderful reunion after 18 years and be part of the extended family.

Leah has grown up into a lovely, young girl. Gary & Christina have done a wonderful job considering the circumstances. Amber just floats in and out of her life at her choosing and pretty much ghosts Leah whenever she has a new man. I'm so happy that Leah attends therapy and has an outlet to discuss her pain. I completely agree with her and why she wants Christina to adopt her. Yes painful for Amber but Amber is not a good parent.

Bentley also seems to be a nice young man considering his circumstances. Another kid who has an involved step parent in Taylor. I think Macy said that when Bentley was born her parents became grandparents at 37???

All of the teen moms really came from broken homes, drug addicted parents, etc. I think they are all trying. I hope Leah's girls are ok. Tyler and Caitlyn are still very emotionally immature. I know they want a relationship with Carly but I agree they are not going about it the right way. I'm sure Brandon and Teresa never imagined they would stay together, let alone have 3 more biological, full siblings to Carly.

I can't even hate watch this show anymore, that moron in FL does IVF with her new guy WHILE SHES STILL MARRIED to her last husband. So now the baby is presumed her husbands baby! How do you get this far into the process without knowing this?

The other CA idiots can't get pregnant because her BF sperm won't swim because he smokes too much weed. BUT LETS KEEP BREEDING.

The fact mtv still funds this is nuts. None of these people should be having more kids since they can't manage the life and kids they have now then mtv is paying for it? Crazy.
