There was an article that stated the neighbor across the street heard screaming and watched him run away. That means police must have gotten there within 5 minutes of the crime, if not sooner? Where did he disappear in 5 minutes?? You know everyone in the area was questioned that first day, including the neighbor across the street, and no one has reported seeing this guy in a 5 minute radius at that time of day? I just don't understand.

Yeah, I've been trying to think that through, too. Maybe he parked a car a few streets away?

In my mind it's a no-brainer. He is a neighbor of these people and ran home after the shootings. He was probably back in his house before the helicopters went up.

Doubtful. If it is a serial killer, they rarely shit where they nest.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better.

If he's a neighbor someone will recognize the composite sketch..North Ridge/Del Ray/Rosemont are pretty close knit communities.

I was thinking this too. I think he may have just strolled home afterward and no one paid him any mind. Why would they? it's not like the police had the description of him the moment after it happened and he easily could have blended in to the neighborhood.

Also, I doubt the serail killer aspect.

Yes and no. You might know the people on your street but not necessarily a few blocks. They are pretty densly populated areas and it's easy not to know everyone.

Hopefully!! Wish we had more information. Unfortunately a composite sketch is not an exact science and there are things the suspect can do to subtly alter his appearance. Plus, how likely is someone to call the cops on their elderly gray haired neighbor.

I was listening to the scanner right after the call came in..they had a description of clothing and stopped a few people wearing similar clothing.

Also -- the Lodato's neighbors may not recognize the suspect if he lives several blocks away, but the people who live around him likely will. I know what all my neighbors look like.

If they think he may have killed someone, I think they'll be pretty likely to. At least I hope so.

I hope so too but suppose he's another longtime or prominent Alexandria resident and the victims were his peers. A neighbor may be hesitant to call the cops on, and essentially accuse, their neighbor. I know I doubt myself when it comes to stuff like this.

Cops just stopped me while I was unloading groceries to ask if I recognized the sketch, I am in Rosemont.

Cops tweeted that they would be going door to door and leaving business cards on homes where no one answers. If you are at work now please make sure to call the number on the card when you get home!

Everyone will be too afraid to answer the door.

I have no association with APD. I'm just sick of people who fan the flames of innuendo and speculation when something serious has happened.

I am not embarrassing myself. Don't worry.

NP here, actually, you are an ass.

It would help if they could do computer animation to give him more facial expressions.
