It sounds like a great plan to me. Not boring.

OP here. Been a few weeks since my last post and saw there were a few replies back here so wanted to respond and provide an update.

Went on the record shopping date, we both pick up a few albums and chatted about our choices at brunch. Made plans to go to a show / mini-road trip so we drove to Richmond to see a few bands, but I didn't realize it was a house show. Took me back to being in college and going to house shows since I was broke and couldn't afford a cover charge. Show was great and we both got in the pit and had a great time. Drove back and hung out at my place in the evening and the next morning.

We've had several dates in the meantime, including meeting each others friend groups. As of this past week neither one of us is seeing anyone else and have agreed to be exclusive.

Now for responses to the few previous posts:

Yes, am African American. As I've noted before, not especially trying to date any one race of women, just taking it as it comes.

I'm pretty happy with my current wardrobe. I have some BB and RPL stuff and I also have athleisure stuff and Dickies gear. Shoes are appropriate for the occasion but not trying to unnecessarily expand my wardrobe.

Am definitely weird but not in a bad way Probably due to the contrast in my work life and non-work life, so sometimes I forget there isn't a bunch of crossover between the two and bring an element from one into the other, i.e. making a joke about crust punks in a classy setting.

Just BMXing, not BMX racing, just to be clear. More like this photo than racing on a track.
