I don't think this article "justifies" it at all. Even if we all pretend to believe that the move is not political (and I believe that it is political), her motive isn't to protect journalistic standards but to create a more conflict-driven television. And she bungles the job so badly that she draws attention to what she is censoring and basically crates a conflict-driven workplace. She comes off looking bad either way. Moreover, the NEW part of this show doesn't have to be the footage of CECOT, it is the testimonies for goodness sake. The interviews with the prisoners and the lawyer who studied all the cases. |

I don’t consider any hard-hitting news story complete until it includes the views of Dershowitz, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Laura Loomer, and Shaun Maguire anyway.
Moreover, this segment wasn’t even authorized by the CBS Tel Aviv bureau, so is it technically even news fit for our consumption at this point? No. Bari did the right thing. |
+1 And it’s telling that she considers the “principals” in this story to be administration officials rather than the actual wrongly imprisoned victims. |
| Ironically, today at work I overheard two Jewish colleagues discuss this Bari Weiss issue at CBS. One looked to the other and point blank asked if “this CBS thing is good for us” because both of them looked absolutely mortified. |
Be sure to get the opinion of the drunk racist uncle as well! |
Is this satire? Nobody can mention Laura Loony seriously |
Trump or Hegseth? |
NP. You are so creepy. Disgusting. |
LOL. That's pretty much what Bari Weiss and CBS have become - the aughing stock of news media. And don't forget to throw in a little Erika Kirk with her Shabbot shalom while we're at it. |
Not PP but that is indeed satire. |
Reporting facts? Yes, very creepy. |
