They let their crimes be filmed. Big mistake.

They were very proud of it a few months ago. Now they don’t want anyone to see

And they haven’t sent any more migrants over to El Salvador since the initial groups were sent in March-April 2025. They know it’s not a good look. If they were confident in the legality of the initial operation, they would’ve continued sending prisoners to CECOT.

Thank god for the internet, even if the socials are censoring pro-freedom content.

Thank you for sharing. I have not watched 60 minutes in years, but I watched this link. Now, I am going to share it on FaceBook and others will share. It's definitely the Streisand Effect.

Interesting piece in The Atlantic about Weiss's decision to pull the segment (gift link): https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2025/12/60-minutes-cecot/685403/?gift=xC_35bkfSCnmAUbAzEjt0elc5xcgI8qC9-JH4bZtjAA&utm_source=copy-link&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=share

I don't know what to believe anymore about most things, but if this is true it gives a different and more justified view of why she pulled it. Basically, she thought it was just not very good TV. FWIW, the Canadian stream will get plenty of views now...

No, they are sending them to Sudan and Uganda. They just realized it is best not to film and advertise like they did with El Salvadore.

Trump has been a good boy listening and obeying to Netanyahu and the Israeli lobbyists. Ellison and Weiss wouldn't want to upset him and change that relationship.

She either misjudged the level of interest and is showing incompetence at best, or is outright complicit in burying bad press about the Trump administration. Either way it's a very bad look for her.

She has zero experience in television journalism and has never even been a reporter, only a columnist, so I don’t know why I should trust her opinion of what is or is not “very good TV.”

This all goes to show that when Democrats retake power, they need to enforce antitrust laws and break up media empires like Ellison's, Murdoch, and Sinclair and others, and re-impose media fairness doctrines. We also need to be encouraging more local journalism and other things.

I don't think that many people were interested in seeing the piece until she pulled it. Streisand anyone.

Bari Weiss is only viewed as “right wing” by extreme left-wing nut jobs.

Weiss is a centrist.

Is anyone she’s platforming anywhere close to the center?

GTFOH, nobody believes that nonsense. And nobody credible is still on the fence and unsure what to believe about this.
