Have you seen the way Trump speaks and what he says about people he dislikes? And how MAGA like him, in part, for how he "speaks his mind".

But, you want Dems to "go high" while they "go low"? How has that worked out for Dems?

DP. And you despise Trump but now support emulating him?

That’s idiotic

whoosh - over your head.

It's called "putting a mirror in front of you".

I have yet to see anything other than outrage at political violence and prayers for Kirk, on Blueskye/the left. I am curious as that what posts you are seeing that are causing problems for you.

Chris Kluwe reposted the “me sowing/me reaping” meme. Also lots of people posting that clip where he says “unfortunately we are going to have some gun deaths.”

As I said in my follow up, tasteless but not justifying it and most posts are rightly condemning.

I am not seeing the problem with posting Kirk's own quotes.

Because all gun violence should be condemned. Mentioning that quote the context of a convo or an article about him would be fine but simply posting that (and only that) moments after he’s been shot is different and if you can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s the type of reaction Trump would have if someone he was opposed to was shot, tbh. Personally, I don’t want to be anything like Trump but maybe you don’t mind it.

Trump is our Supreme Leader. Leaders set the tone for their people. Maybe leaders should not be so cruel and unethical f they want the populace to be peaceful.

You said it yourself. Trump would act this way so why wouldn’t the people follow his lead? You think being POTUS is some kind of joke?

Are you a sophomore in college trying to show off your rhetoric “prowess?” I abhor potus and everything he does and stands for, thus I don’t want to respond the way he would.

You think a concealed carry permit would have helped Charlie Kirk?

Never know, if the shooter knew there was a chance someone would take him out, would he have tried it there?
Seeing as it was a "gun free zone" he knew he'd live

Um, many shooters take their own lives before anybody even has a chance to return fire. So that's not necessarily a factor.

In this country, we don’t shoot people for saying things we don’t like.

If he survives, the right will take it as a sign from God about his righteousness and they will double-down on anything against the Bible. He’ll likely run in 2028 as an actual Handmaiden’s Type candidate. FWIW people online are saying he’s stabilized now….

If he dies, it’s a rallying cry for the far-right to target liberals similarly.

Nothing good comes of violence like this. It should be condemned 1000%.

They are already targeting the left.

Right- what is the right going to do? Oh right. Bring the marines and national guard into cities. That will help the gun violence., No on should have to live being scared to go to the grocery store or hear a speaker….. Wait. Which side is this?

Charlie doesn't want gun control.

Charlie Kirk: “It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment”

Nope, he does not.

Unfortunately, Trump and his sycophants will use this as a rally cry. More violence to come.

Love that this happened in a ruby red state at a ruby red university. As for Kirk he had zero empathy for Sandy Hook, VT or any other shooting so that zero empathy goes back to him.

NP. The idea that Democrats have “gone high” is ludicrous but particularly in this thread. Have some self-awareness.

Me? I’m a left leaning independent who loathes Trump.

I don’t need a mirror. Plenty here do

Charlie didn’t care about a few gun deaths and nobody blinked. And liberals were already killed this year and I don’t recall the president caring one iota.

The president has no empathy. It trickles down.

He mocked a reporter with a disability, never expressed sympathy for Covid victims, and threw paper towels at people who’d lost homes and were devastated. He complained about having to go to National Airport to meet with the victims’ families after an accident caused by the US.

You can’t say it doesn’t matter.

Yes I can. Do you think everyone is some sort of cyborg, mimicking the thoughts and feelings of a leader? That they don't have free will to have their own code or morality? If that's what you truly believe, you are missing quite a few IQ points (and probably lack humanity yourself)

This x a million

It doesn't matter if it's condemned or not the right you speak of doesn't care. You are looking for something that doesn't exist and hoping for Internet bum pats for being a good person.

But while I don't like that some leftists/liberals are cheering this on, just know that conservatives would not only cheer this on if the situation were reversed, but they wouldn't police and scold their group for having the wrong reaction either.

Who are these liberals cheering them on? Name names and link it. So far, I have seen ZERO evidence of this and yet it has been posted on this thread several times.

Just look at Reddit. And dont say, "well, you don't know their political affiliation." It's Reddit, a very well-known liberal space.

Appears person filmed being arrested is not a suspect and suspect is not in custody. CNN reports that University now says single shot came from a building 200 yards away. Certainly suggests an experienced marksman.
