Let’s focus on the future and maybe taking a shower. Or even touch some grass! Don’t forget to pay taxes for next year and stop caring so much about children swimming! Much love.

Honestly, it should be swimmers using this forum. If you're a parent still using this to dump on other teams, shame on you. This forum should have been a place of discussion and it's turned into (classically) rumors and rude parents.

I hate this forum during summer swim season. It’s all just nonsense unrelated to the sport.

Don't make us start an OKM sportsmanship thread.

This is actually pretty funny. Chesterbrook swimmer pretends to be OKM and then replies to his own thread about how it may be unsportsmanlike. Classic. I wonder if the kids will figure out how we can immediately tell they are kids. Is it the one space between sentences or something else entirely...

OKM swam great. If it wasn’t for the DQs it’s possible that it would have been a win.

Great competition overall.

Not taking anything away from the solid swimming from OKM, but the math doesn't quite work out for that scenario. OKM only had one relay that was dq'd (early takeoff) and it wasn't close to first place (14 points). OKM finished 16 points behind. Regardless, great swims and 18 relays qualified for ASR. Good to see a spirited and friendly club doing so well.

There were 6 DQs total in the meet if you look at the results online. Depending on where those relays would have finished in the standings if they were not DQ’d maybe it would have been closer.

For example, if Overlee finished 1st but was DQ’s and it bumped Tuckahoe up to 1st instead of 2nd that’s an additional 4 pts for Tuckahoe. While yes the other teams also slide around I’m just saying with 6 DQs at the meet as a whole maybe OKM would have faired better if there were not DQs.

Also there were super close races that could have gone either way. Just look at the times!!

We’ll see how ASR goes.

It is more fun when the teams are pretty even and any day, the meet could go one way or the other. We should all be welcoming this! More fun for kids and a lot more fun to watch.
