I have experienced first hand attacks from leftists while walking to and from a peaceful rally. Only to have the media portray the events completely differently than what I witnessed.
We have a media that covers up for their side consistently and blatantly.
Most of us who feel the way that I do would have loved to go to the Army parade this weekend but we are aware that we put ourselves and families at risk when doing so.
I love America despite the hate from nearly half of the country and I am glad my parents (legally) came here to give me and my siblings a better life. I am so proud that my kids have chosen to serve and protect the rights of American citizens.
I wish I would have felt safe enough to go to the parade, I am so damn tired of the hatred from the left.
The parade and its environs were literally the safest places in DC yesterday. You didn’t need the courage of your husband or children to attend. Just be glad you weren’t a democratic legislator at your home in Minnesota. Or a democratic governor at your home in Pa. Or the House minority leader’s husband at your home in Ca. Going to a parade is not fraught.
Your afraid of a bunch of non-violent protesters? You need to turn off the TV, walk away from social media and live your life. If this is real, your ignorance is a prison.
This is where you are absolutely wrong. I definitely have experienced first hand the violence from the left. I refuse to have the media inform me that what I experience and see with my own eyes is not reality.
I agree there is a huge bubble in DC and among the Americans who exclusively get their opinions from the legacy media. The talking points that are spouted from my friends and family on the left are oftentimes identical. They spout “facts” but when asked specific questions on why they hold a certain opinion, they cannot explain.
YOU all believed and covered up the lies that your party forced upon the US; from authoritarian lockdowns to the lies that held up Biden for the entirety of his presidency. I hoped this would have waned by now but the mass formation psychosis is still going strong.
Share the details! If there was “violence” — surely there’s a police report, some comments with date stamps, and maybe even a news report, right? Share — so we can commiserate.
Someone saw her dumb ass red hat and gave her the finger. Very traumatic for snowflake MAGAs.
Sorry, no hat, just a regular half stay at home Mom in regular non political clothes attending a rally in California in 2016. I was spat upon, verbally threatened, thrown water bottles etc. I stepped around a burning hat on my way back to my car and had to run at the encouragement of the police that were holding the line, when a group of young men came running towards us, a girlfriend and 9 year old daughter. Later the news reported it was the Trump supporters that were the agitators; it was not as the leftwing counter protesters outnumbered us at least 10 to 1 and we just wanted to go to the rally and go home peacefully. I also attended the Bernie rally in my town that year and there were zero threatening right wingers in attendance.
This is what I was afraid of.
I am a MAHA Mom now, in great physical shape and just speaking my truth. Sorry if this makes you kind leftwingers upset. I know good people who believe what you do and love America. I just don’t hate as some of the posters above have hated on me.
