| The parade was such a snooze fest and also pretty embarrassing. Guys shuffling along out of step with wrinkled uniforms, a couple of sad looking tanks. Funnnnn…. |
Sloppy parade for sloppy POS POTUS. |
|
It probably attracted far fewer people than the 250,000 the White House claimed. In fact, the optics were simply embarrassing. As the Washington Post noted,
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/06/14/trump-parade-birthday-army-anniversary/?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Some in the crowd filed out as the parade continued, the number of onlookers thinning before the president gave his remarks. Even bleacher seating for VIP guests, positioned directly across from a riser for news cameras, remained half-empty throughout the program. |
Yes, I am familiar with we are a retiree family. Are you? They did not even get tents or Barracks. |
Probably? There would have been more people on the mall on a random Saturday than were there for the parade. Swaths of open green, empty bleachers and mostly 1 or zero deep viewers along the parade route. Sad. |
June 16. Sill waiting. |
How much will the street repairs cost? |
Apparently, there was little to no damage despite the entire media crawling around on their hands and knees with magnifying glasses hoping to find the slightest cracks. Meanwhile, they largely ignored immigration activists literally sledge hammering the streets in LA to throw at police. This is why the vast majority no longer trust the media or the Democrats (yes, redundant). |
I don’t know, but I’m sure that the concerns were taken into account when they altered the route for some of the heavier vehicles, put down metal plates at critical areas, lowered the speeds, and put padding on the tanks. |
And your evidence for this is what? Your tinfoil hat that reviewed every street? |
|
I’m guessing some damage won’t be apparent until the first freeze/melt cycle.
I’ll take some concern from the Ds over the roads over the R’s blatant disregard for the Constitution and constant lying. |
Riiiiight. |
June 17. Still waiting. |
Good news! Democrats tell me it will never snow in this area again. |
The Ds are taking pickaxes to the roads in LA to throw at police offices. |
