Notice that the Vice Chair position on the Budget Committee is now listed as “VACANT,” with Sizemore-Heizer listed as the Chsir.

He should be removed from the CPDC as well.

Thank goodness there was some recognition of the inappropriateness of him staying on as budget chair! Now if he would only have some shame and step down from the board altogether.

Interesting. Did they make a public statement about the change? When they are forced into a corner, they usually do this very quietly and hope no one notices or has more questions. That seems to be what's happening here.

The fact that McDaniel was apparently removed from a leadership position on the Budget Committee indicates they realize he is now a liability.

What he now needs to do is resign from the School Board entirely. He is an albatross around their necks.

Without his resigning, we have no way to know whether, as soon as the county transfer to FCPS is finalized, he won't be restored to his position on the Budget Committee.

And, yes, people will attack Asra Nomani, but she digs into these stories more than anyone from the Washington Post will.

He needs to resign NOW and get his professional and personal life in order. No one could believe for a moment that he belongs on the FCPS School Board or could do a good job with these allegations hanging over his head.

What I really like about McDaniel is that he’s principled. Given his support for boundary changes, he’s going to require his kids to change school pyramids too. That’s just the stand-up guy that he is.
