He continued to embezzle funds long after he was first discovered to be doing so, including while on an FCPS taxpayer paid trip to New Orleans to pay for his strip club visits. If Frisch does not remove him as chair of the budget committee and participation in FCSB meetings by Monday the Board of Supervisors needs to get involved.

Frisch doesn’t have the power to remove him. Neither does the BoS. He is elected. And what does him being bisexual have to do with anything? If republicans ran mainstream people who didn’t constantly attack along these and other culture warrior lines, maybe we would have had a better school board.

Although sexuality should be irrelevant to a position at the SB - or any other business or professional transaction - the activist gender ideologues in FCPS made it so. Unfortunately, the entire school board prioritizes DEI initiatives. For example, I don’t recall anyone objecting to their Chairman swearing on a stack of pornographic books, or to McDaniel’s swearing on a book that portrays adult sexual themes, graphic oral and anal sex, rape, violence and drug use.

Our money continues to go towards DEI programs, and not where it should: teachers and academics. The entire school board needs to be removed.

Why are there two typos in one short tweet?

Aw, your attempts at pivot are so cute, Kyle. Did you learn that from Frisch, your $15,000 campaign sponsor? Was he also your strip club buddy in New Orleans?

No, I think Kyle needs to step down. While I understand these are just allegations, I am disgusted with him and disappointed with the rest of the board for at least not making him resign as budget chair. But I also wonder why Luke Rosiak can’t even tweet correctly.

I assume he was excited about breaking the allegations in the plaintiff’s amended complaint. Not everyone is like the Washington Post and waits until everyone else has covered a story before reporting on it.

He needs to understand that he has to be more careful if he wants to be seen as credible.

While a couple of typos might not completely obstruct understanding, their presence may create a less professional impression. However, let’s focus on the content rather than the form.

Furthermore, shouldn’t we be questioning instead the silence of the MSM by not covering this outrage in detail?

On the other hand, maybe Rosiak could be dyslexic, but a very courageous and gutsy one. If it weren’t for him, McDaniel and Frisch would have continued spending the FCPS budget on their “personal” projects with the complicity of the entire school board.

The one WAPO article was less than comprehensive.

All the articles are basically the same because they are entirely based on the allegations in the complaint and some canned statements from FCPS.

The coverage of this disgrace seems not the point here. McDaniel and the idiots protecting him are a joke.
Anonymous
The expanded (amended) complaint had already been filed when WAPO ran their story, yet they didn't even bother to check.

The school board has a budget “work session” now. McDaniel does not appear to be there because he is supposed to be budget chair and didn’t even open the session. Sizemore Heizer is budget vice chair and she isn’t even in person. So far, they just seem to be selling the new communications campaign “excellence at a crossroads” - not actually doing any work.

WaPo has a history of never being the first one to break bad news about FCPS. They always, always wait until other outlets have made the story impossible to ignore.

Imagine if they, or any other actual big outlet, were willing to report the bad with the good and hold the system accountable instead of mostly running canned articles straight from FCPS's (typically lame) press releases.

McDaniel should be STRIPPED of his school board position.

Agree. He is garbage and contaminating all of the other school board members around him while they pretend this will just go away.

As has been said many times, only voters can get rid of him by a recall or voting him out next time. No one can “strip” him of his elected office.

DP. He could be taken off every committee, though. Leaving him on the budget committee is just unconscionable.

Weird when the word "strip" is so central for fcps board members. Who joins Kyle at the clubs? His friends Sandy and Karl?

Kyle is showed up via Zoom again for tonight’s board meeting. Two in a row. He didn’t even dial in for the budget meeting the other night.

They’re all on the budget committee.
