Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)
For embezzlement. He is budget chair. At a minimum suspended immediately and removed from all finance matters. |
Correct but still remove the party from potential future conflicts- in this case, all finance matters including budget should be outside his scope now and until investigation by FCpS. |
I very much disapprove of what’s happening on the federal level, but most Fairfax families are smart enough to see through your whataboutism. Wrong is wrong. |
Who voted for them? |
| This guy needs to resign. He definitely shouldn't be in charge of a $4 billion budget. |
According to your reasoning, Trump is a crook, therefore, McDaniel’s embezzling habit should be acceptable for him to oversee the FCPS $4 billion budget? You certainly have no kids in the system, nor own property in the county. |
|
He has to resign or be kicked off the SB. The appearance of impropriety is too great. For example, after initially expressing concern about Karl Frisch’s wasteful Dunn Loring project, McDaniel went ahead and voted to approve the CIP, saying he was comfortable with it as a whole.
Was Frisch holding this over his head at the time? Was it yet another example of McDaniel rationalizing that a little bit of waste or fraud at work is OK? No one can trust McDaniel now. The fact that he was a big advocate for boundary changes after he’d just moved into the boundaries for a school that just got a big expansion (Oakton) is another indication that this guy is a hypocrite with zero integrity. |
Check out his donors: especially the donation from Frisch. |

Haven't you all been complaining the Frisch is getting money from outside sources? Of course he is going to "spread the wealth" among his preferred SB candidates. That has nothing to do with blackmail. |
|
The irony from McDaniel’s past campaign for school board:
“Why should voters trust you? In my career field, aviation, there is zero tolerance for dishonesty because it can get people hurt. I bring this same approach to public service: I do not tolerate dishonesty. After listening to all sides of an issue, and consulting experts in the field, I will tell the community where I stand. While we may not always agree, you will know where I come down, and why.” It’s obvious that his definition of dishonesty differs from ours. The fact that the School Board hasn’t asked him to step down at this point shows that they are comfortable with this impropriety. They all need to be fired! |
It’s funny when you feel the need to point out someone apparently buying support by funneling political contributions to their campaigns is better than potential blackmail. We deserve better than that either way. Both Frisch and McDaniel should be investigated and removed from the SB. |
Just wait until the Lt. Governor’s race heats up and the Democrats try and tar Herrity with McDaniel’s alleged fraud (McDaniel used to work for Herrity until he switched parties and decided to be Laura Jane Cohen 2.0). Kyle will be a political liability for both parties until he crawls under a rock and disappears from the political scene. |
| Frisch was re-elected after the Dunn Loring boondoggle so there’s no basis for “removing” him. If Kyle were decent, he would step down. |
|
Kyle is a bisexual by his own words despite hiding behind a wife and two children. He continued to embezzle funds long after he was first discovered to be doing so, including while on an FCPS taxpayer paid trip to New Orleans to pay for his strip club visits. If Frisch does not remove him as chair of the budget committee and participation in FCSB meetings by Monday the Board of Supervisors needs to get involved.
