Plane crash DCA?

My aviation buff 13 year old son mentioned this - thought it might be a test of the autonomous functionality in the Blackhawk.

Was supposed to be flying into DCA tomorrow.

You’ll know when you know. There is no “typically.” JFC.

They will reroute if necessary.

Just try to sleep.

There will be an incentive for the government to lie. I see what you see.

Sorry, but air safety takes priority over a pilot trying to cover it up (the pilot is not around anymore to try to cover anything up). There will be no lying.

The military just lied to us about drones. You are funny.

No, I don't think the dead pilot will try to cover it up. lol

I said: The Government. Not a pilot.

This is so tragic, how does something like this happen in 2025
this is why flying cars will never be a thing

Why does it matter how many flights are in/out? This has nothing to do with that.

This is DCUM. Some of us pilot our car in the worst traffic in the country and keep it between the lines, so we throw everything against the wall and hope something sticks. We are experts.

I've seen that it was a full flight, some 68-73 people on board. All lost.

Let's say a prayer for their souls or take a moment to wish them peace.

More importantly …their families. Whose suffering has just begun.

Safety is an illusion.

Crashes. Cancer. Shootings. Heart Attacks.

Everyone likes to think they are safe but it’s all a giant crap shoot.

This video was on the previous page - it is not uncommon in this area:

Trump fkg with Feds and people snapping and making errors—air traffic controllers.

Congressmen making National run more flights when they are already way over capacity.

The helicopter route is underneath the plane routes.

Because statistically, with helicopters maneuvering around them, the chances of a collision goes up.

Imagine you’re darting across a busy road. As the number of cars increases, the chances of you getting hit goes up. Now imagine there are dozens of other people also darting across this road. As the number of cars and number of people increases, the chances of a collision go up, and at some point it will happen no matter how alert people are.

When the truck went off the George Washington bridge a week ago, there were no survivors.
You mean the Arlington Memorial Bridge?

There’s too many helicopter flights for “VIPs.” Lots of unimportant people taking rides because it’s a perk of the job.

Helicopter flights need to be drastically scaled back around the airport and the river.

Flightradar24 was showing the helicopter flying circles near the airport before the crash.
