Plane crash DCA?

Anonymous
So I’m supposed to fly out on Friday. How long do you think DCA will be shut down?

This is such an awful event. I’m in such disbelief

I've listened to it. Then, you hear the ATC scream.

Can I have a link or a idea of where to find this?

Try this. The link is down sometimes. Lots of people listening.

DP. At what point on this recording does the crash occur?

I’m guessing there is way better video somewhere, it’s just not publicly available like KC.

this is why flying cars will never be a thing

Because humans are the same as you, and your parents and their parents . Still human, and therefore fallible.

Why does it matter how many flights are in/out? This has nothing to do with that.

Sure it does. The more airplanes and helicopters you have in the same airspace, the riskier it is.

When the truck went off the George Washington bridge a week ago, there were no survivors.
You mean the Arlington Memorial Bridge?

I initially typed bridge and then thought I should add more description - should have double-checked what I was writing.

Yes, the truck that went off the Memorial Bridge last week. Both men were dead when they were recovered.

I’m now hearing four survivors. If true probably from the tail

This video was on the previous page - it is not uncommon in this area:

Wrong link, sorry:

I was in elementary school and remember the awful air Florida crash into the 14th street bridge and the few survivors in that Icy water. I drive my kid to school over the 14th street bridge daily and part of the river was still frozen today.

Also. Always helicopters of all kinds We see them daily. Big ones as well like this Blackhawk.

Trump fkg with Feds and people snapping and making errors—air traffic controllers.

Congressmen making National run more flights when they are already way over capacity.

The helicopter route is underneath the plane routes.

Federal employees have been under stress for about a week and a half and have been literally receiving threatening memos and messages every evening for close to a week

It has a hell of a lot to do with that. Stop gaslighting. The airport is not being run safely. This is the logical consequence.

There have been several near-misses at DCA recently. It was bound to happen.
