I like her songs just fine, but I wish she'd break up with the guy she's dating. All of a sudden I'm constantly hearing about all these football people I have zero interest in. I miss the days of not hearing about football at all.

What do you mean? That post has a slightly more cynical take, but it reads like the lyrics to Anti-Hero

Even Taylor sees her fame has down sides. She and her family chose it anyway and really made it work.

I halfway agree with you but I don’t think she has average talent when it comes to songwriting. The fact she can write so many catchy songs—and they’re not total pop drivel—is kind of mind blowing. I wish I could write just one song that stuck in people’s heads the way she writes entire albums of earworms.

I like the Taylor Swift story and wanted to like her music in the same way I love Joan Baez and
Judy Collins. But she does not have a beautiful voice, and I have a terrible time hearing the words she is saying - can't follow the story line she is telling.

She/her team fabulous at producing and marketing her stuff that's how she's gotten to where she is. Many others have better voices (who are we to judge, dcum singers lol) and perform better than her, but the others' haven't been able to produce as much as her and market it like her.
