I am talking to a lot of Democrats who want Trump to succeed.

Exponentially the highest fiscal deficit, debt and trade deficit. This country is an economic basket case completely dependent of the reserve dollar we earned by being the worlds largest lender and highest surplus.

We need to grow the private sector by any means necessary and become competitive in many items we need to import. Especially the ones that are defense related.

I look forward to seeing what your control of all three branches of government can accomplish towards these goals. Please proceed.

Give dimwits like Trump and Biden the amount of power and control that comes with the POTUS position, nothing good will happen. Been there, done that. Repeat.

Anonymous wrote:Those democrats are foolish and short sighted. It's incredible that in their position of comfort, wealth, and education, they cannot think intelligently, but they expect poorer, less educated people to be smarter.

People voted Trump because they are fed up with our society, and they are desperate for change. If Trump is as bad as we think he is, society only gets worse.

What do these successful democrats think happens when society gets worse? There will be more shootings of successful people in the streets.

So your point is that, when Trump wins and delivers what he promised because MAGA republicans voted for him and his promises, it's the democrats fault?

Typical.

Also, there are not "shootings of successful people in the streets". There was one shooting of an unapologetic 1%-er who made his fortune on the backs and deaths of America's most vulnerable sick and dying. I am wealthy and successful by many standards yet I have zero concerns that someone will target me for any of those things. If anyone will need to start watching their backs it will be the billionaires supporting Trump. MAGA gonna be bigly mad when they finally start connecting the dots...

Again, it's incredible how foolish you are. When there is chaos, no one distinguishes good people from bad people.

If demonizing the 1% -er who was killed makes you sleep better at night, have at it. This man was working within an existing system that promotes that level of greed and callousness. Many comfortable people including doctors, lawyers, bankers, lobbyist, consultants etc are working in the same system. If you think people who are hurting for one reason will continue to make distinctions between this man and them, you are naive. If they were capable of distinction, we will not have Trump as president, and we would not have had what happened on Jan 6.

We need to come together to fix this country. You might be shocked at how your fellow American is reacting to the issues facing this country, but you cannot ignore that there are real issues. Wishing for Trump to make things much worse just so you can gloat is childish and unproductive especially because you and I will definitely not be immune from the consequences.

They don't want us to help 'fix this country' trump said he alone can fix evrrything

Yup because he wants to be a dictator

Some want Obama care repealed, all illegal immigrants deported and heavy crackdown on crime including shoplifting,
and on and on.
Most are well off business people and professionals and will benefit from the tax cuts and becoming Trump police supporters after they voted for KH and are so disappointed after she lost.

Oh, lord! Pollyanna is back. You really need a new hobby because even on an anonymous chat room you sweetness is cloying. Looking at the world through rose colored glasses distorts reality. Wanting Trump to succeed is wanting to lose our democracy and freedoms.

Not PP but your response makes no sense

Nothing PP said was pollyannaerish - more dystopian

And we can start on December 20. If the democrats don’t get everything they want for the CR, then they should not help Johnson pass it.

The democrats need to stop being patsies. No more compromise. The democrats tried that with the lankford bill and it was a disaster.

Dems should do zero to help Johnson unless it benefits Democrats. Let the GOP shut down the government. It's going to be a turbulent ride so fasten your seat belts!

And that’s how Democrats roll. Glad we’ll soon have a President who’ll work to benefit ALL Americans.

I needed a good laugh this morning.

A rising tide floats all boats. Versus singling out specific people (minorities) to help.

A rising tide doesn’t float all boats when the big boats take all the extra water with them. Trickle down economics does not work ffs.

I must admit Trumps press conference today was very good and so much better than Biden’s

Gee. Maybe you should let the MAGA-morons in on this one.

So you believe lying and exaggerating = good. Hmmm.

I disagree.

Except some of us are in a canoe while others are on a yacht and then a big cruise ship mows us over.

Trump and Biden aren't comparable at all, troll.

You can't normalize a POS like Trump.

Yes, that is why they voted for that POS. Liars love liars.

I'm a Democrat who despises Trump, but I hope I am wrong and he can make things better. I don't actually think I am wrong, but I want to be.

If you look at the past 15 years, the middle class has not recovered from the Great Recession. Democrats have held the presidency most of that time. I love my country and my family is doing well with double the median area HHI, but I honestly don't know how the majority of people get by.

And who controlled Congress? When did the Democrats have a filibuster proof majority to get anything meaningful done? Oh, and when did the GOP ever negotiate in good faith during that time? I'll wait...

I mean yeah, I'm not thrilled with the GOP at all. I despise Mitch McConnell. But this is the system we have, and Democrats haven't been able to meaningfully improve the lives of middle class people within the current system.

I voted for Harris and was devastated when she lost. That doesn't mean I want Trump to fail the middle class. I hope he can help them.

I watched their debate, the event that ended Biden's political career. Biden was a confused old man who spoke haltingly. Trump had much more energy, speaking clearly and confidently. As it happens just about everything Trump said was false but...details.
