The right wants a civil war. everything they are doing is meant to undermine our country and have us at each others throats |
I have not heard any republican or democrat call for civil war. Where do you hear that? |
Literally Pete Hegseth is whacking off to the idea in his book. |
More like the rape of Ukraine. |
![]() ![]() I needed a good laugh this morning. |
A rising tide floats all boats. Versus singling out specific people (minorities) to help. |
I didn’t read the whole thread, but I’ll survive the FO portion of this grand experiment just fine so if others learn tough lessons, so be it. I’m sick of being demonized as a coastal liberal elite for caring about other people and being willing to pay more in taxes to support others.
The biggest con in this whole situation has been getting rural Rs to believe all these billionaires have economic plans that will help them. My wealthy R acquaintances would never vote for Trump if that were the case. They claim to be socially liberal, but fiscally conservative, and count on Trump to help them pull as much money as possible out of the economy. |
JFC, we are not idiots. The U.S. has tried cutting taxes and deregulating every industry and giving states authority over everything and running the government as a big crony network and none of it ever worked and never will. Everything the government does was enacted for good reason but only begrudgingly after long periods of dysfunction and injustice and corruption and failure. Empowering the federal government has always been unpopular until every other option failed miserably. An administration built around greed and anger and bigotry and corruption is guaranteed to be a disaster for everyone except the looters in charge. |
Dude. We are definitely idiots. |
Oh, the irony. ![]() |
Many of them have spent a lot of money on their gun collections and would really like an excuse to use them. |
FIFY (Trickle down doesn’t work) |
Indeed. Republicans need to stop peeing on our shoes and telling us it's raining. |
We are addicted to printing money to buy imported everything that we can’t make.
Exponentially the highest fiscal deficit, debt and trade deficit. This country is an economic basket case completely dependent of the reserve dollar we earned by being the worlds largest lender and highest surplus. We need to grow the private sector by any means necessary and become competitive in many items we need to import. Especially the ones that are defense related. |
Too bad Trump is going to flush the 99% down the toilet. |
