SNL Saturday Night Live

Do you mean Stellan Skarsgard? Alexander Skarsgard’s dad made a couple of appearances in the sketches with him.

Of course not

Alexander Skarsgård and Cardi B host. Skarsgård SNL debut. Has two movie releases: 'The Moment' and 'Pillion.' Cardi B was last on in 2018. Now she has her second album, 'Am I the Drama?'

Best episode in a while.

The luge thing made me laugh so hard I choked. Her line delivery in that dumb skit about tj little girls was actually also pretty funny — she got a big laugh with that one line that was like stop asking her if she knows stuff, and that was all just her delivery.

I really dislike Ashley Padilla’s delivery. It’s like she’s trying to be as annoying as possible.

Will the audience boo Cardi now that she's MAGA?

Do they all look the same to you? How embarrassing.

Oh stop. It’s not racist to mix up entertainers . It happens all the time with white entertainers too.

When you can't even get it right why bother? Doesn't exactly have the same punch.

I tried to watch it after seeing an article about it. The mom was...awful. I didn't find it funny and thought her timing was terrible. She constantly looked like she was reading of cue cards. Do they not memorize their lines anymore? (Before anyone comes for me -- not an ounce of MAGA in me. I was excited to watch the skit and couldn't finish it.)

I posted before that I just think Ashley Padilla is terrible and she ruined that skit which had a funny concept. Sarah Sherman and Jane wickline both were funny as the kids.

I think Sarah Sherman does surprisingly well in tj slots considering everyone says she’s not a skit performer. What I hate in the shtick where Sarah just says awkward sexual things about Colin jost — I just don’t find that funny and it’s so tired. I also thought Sarah Sherman was funny as Jane getting dumped by Tarzan.

I dislike Jane Wickline a lot but agree on Ashley Padilla. I find she has very little range and has the same annoying delivery of every line. Like she holds her face too long to try to grt a laugh.

I had liked Ashley Padilla a lot in skits earlier this season, they are leaning into her heavily with the departures. I agree the Trump Mom skit was a dud (though I was excited to watch like a PP) and overall she was not great this time. I don't think the writing for her in that one or Play Date was very good tho.

I think last weekend’s episode was one of the funnier ones.

It was great seeing Pete Davidson in the cold open = he did an excellent job as the Border Czar I feel.

Ashley Padilla is truly the breakout star this season bar none.
The fact that she can portray a variety of different characters w/o breaking illustrates just how talented she really is.
She excels at comedy in every skit she is in.
Jane Wick is showing her talent more this season and I would say she is running a very close second to Ashley.

Weekend Update is hysterical as always, it is funny how self-deprecating Colin Jost is.
He seems like such a classic Ivy League educated proper White guy……and the jokes that are bestowed upon him (that make him appear racist, sexist, etc.) are hilarious!

Agree that was a departure from her usual and she did a great job.

The cold open was really good this week. Pete!

Skarsgard looked like he was having a great time.

It was nice seeing Pete back on the show - - even if he was only in the cold open.
He is very missed and is always a bright light in the show when he comes back.
I hope Bowen comes back in future seasons since the show is not as funny w/o his comedic input.

No SNL for next few Sat. Olympics coverage instead.

SNL returns February 28.
Connor Storrie as host.
Musical guest Mumford & Sons.

Jane Wickline And the luge skit was such perfection. She’s only ever one character (herself?) but this one was it. I keep sending it around to friends
