Agree. She is just awful at this.

Will they say she was jet lagged, didn't have her script, or was drunk??

She was terrible! It sounded like she just wanted to be a spectator and not have to talk at all. Other times she seemed overwhelmed or overcome with awe/emotion. She was completely silent for so many long stretches I forgot she was even there. I felt sorry for Tirico, the only one who was actually talking and when he paused for her to say something, all she could say was, "wow that's so cool" or very amateurish attempts at humor. She should never announce another major event.

Chill.

No one us taking away your right to practice your religion. Don’t question their right to practice their art.

If a holy moment of Islam were portrayed by a bunch of drag queens on the world stage, I’m quite confident you nor anyone else would be defending it as art. I’d also bet good money the response would be violent.

But you are like them in thinking other people!s behavior should be curtailed by YOUR beliefs.

No, MOCKING other people's beliefs is not the same as disapproving of them.

They took artistic license with a famous painting. That is all the last supper is to many people. Artist are allowed to riff off other’s work.

At least Peyton Manning had the good sense to stay quiet. He’s terrible too.

Peyton Manning had no place being there either. There are plenty of former Olympians they could have tapped instead.

Yep. I'm wondering how they picked these three? What's in her contract? Or is she is really overwhelmed at the level of this event? Several times she commented on hoping performers don't slip in rain.

Kelly’s vocal athlete line was pretty good.

And for those of you complaining, that shot of the hot air cauldron floating over Paris was stunning.

Commentators were awful - that French rapper was great though! Overall I liked it but was muting-tasking. So excited for gymnastics this weekend.
