Is anyone watching the Opening Ceremony? It's pretty neat so far - I like seeing it along the Seine instead of in a stadium.

How are they providing proper security with all of those building surrounding the river?

Noah Lyles just needs to cut his hair into a low fade, he doesn't have sharp enough features to pull of braids (and not neat ones at that)

When you think about it this boat parade may be easier to secure than a stadium filled with thousands of people.

This is the first Olympics in a long while that I've been excited about watching. I'm 57 so grew up at a time when the Olympics monopolized our collective attention every four years. So many wonderful memories of watching with my family and talking about it with friends as school. I had such a crush on Eric Heiden in 1980!
