Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
Oh please.. this again has to do with parenting. We didn't have a real shut down. Schools went virtual but that's not a shutdown. This is parenting. |
And, it happened at the metro station. Isn’t this a civil issue? Maybe also school? |
God help us. |
I don’t think it’s good to make unsubstantiated allegations about specific individuals on the internet. It can ruin lives. |
Which store was robbed? |
The incident happened at a big hang out spot/metro station, not at school so school isn't really involved. The only way they could be involved is if a student brought a weapon on campus, but not sure what can be done about that without full proof, and this is why they need to do bag searches and have metal and other detectors. |
I think that person means the MCPS video recorded training modules that teachers have to review every year before the start of school. One of the modules is on gangs and gang behavior. It is generic and not particularly useful |
A person got robbed of their bike. |

Boys in fatherless homes do less well in life. They have plenty to rage about, including their single mothers with little if any authority, and her various boyfriends.
Absentee/ part time fathers can never be equal to a strong, loving and disciplined father in the home. |
Stop with the blame game. These kids very well could have involved fathers. There is no excuse for kids to behave like this and regardless of their home situation, it was clear they were up to no good dressed in all black with hoods over their face. This is an epic parenting failure. And, probably not the first time these kids behaved like this. |
https://www.wjpitch.com/print/2020/02/15/bethesda-clash-tracing-the-wj-bcc-rivalry/ This article highlights years of fighting before the pandemic. Yes, the pandemic had a negative impact on behavior, but fights between these two schools happened on a regular basis pre covid. |
Yes, it seems they travel in packs of three, four or five. Time to split up. |

I’d bet a few million dollars that the perpetrators were not well behaved at school either! |
What I said is an actual fact. How exactly can boys become decent men when their home life is mayhem, and there’s no role model at home? |
