No, but the camera was. |
| this is all so freakin’ sexist in its way!! two male athletes could do this sh*te without Twitter making it into a race war. Because of course, it’s just about the game for men, but has to be more personal for the women. |

This makes absolutely no sense, lol. Clark did the Cena move in another game when she was winning, and Reese threw it back in her face when they beat her. It’s trash talk. That’s what trash talk is. The difference being clarke did it toward her bench for a few seconds, while Angel followed her around for 20 seconds at end if game. Situation matters . Clark has been doing similar ALL YEAR. You can't "iT's DiFfErEnT" your way around this. Did you see the Diana Taurasi examples upthread or are you going to conveniently ignore those as well? If you're hellbent on trying to parse the difference, ask yourself why. Well if ewe are now going to throw other people into this., let's not forget Diana Taurasi's DWI arrest and guilty plea. |
Look at what happened when Perkins said Joker was going to win the MVP because he was white. Basketball media, at all levels and both genders, wants the next white superstar so badly it's ridiculous |
I don’t know, the media has been pretty pro black recently. |
So what? |
Oh a picture from the Internet, it must be real. Lol! FFS are people this stupid? Are you a boomer? You’re literally posting something from 1 persons Facebook page that nobody reported in the news. Do you know how the internet works? |
Lol what? What country? |
We're talking about in the context of women's basketball though. The basketball media likes to have an almost singular focus on one "anointed" player at a given time that sucks up all of the air in the room. It's gone from Breanna Stewart to Sabrina Ionescu to Paige Bueckers and now Caitlin Clark. Might just be coincidence, but don't think players don't notice. Breanna is arguably WCBB GOAT, but the rest have won the square root of feck all championships, even though they are all great players. |
You're making up your own facts to support your agenda. Maybe critical thinking isn't you're thing. |
Found a video! If this is the incident in question, then she appears to have just been moving her hair or touching her face. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cqi4HzSMI6D/?igshid=YjNmNGQ3MDY%3D |
How about you give reading the thread a try, genius. |
How about you answer the question are you OK with Caitlin Clark saying that she was playing for girls look like her? |
I'm not the one that originally asserted that I was sick of the "look like me" trope. Maybe ask that PP. |
You can still answer the question |
