Is it so good that people pay full tuition? |
yes |
Has Georgia been steadily climbing for the last few years? Do you think they will continue to attract strong students and move up in the rankings? We're new to the college search, and I am admittedly surprised by the acceptance rates of schools that were not on my radar as being super selective. I notice Georgia does not get as many applications (still a lot!) as some of the other schools in the South, like Tennessee or Florida, but their admitted and enrolled students have generally impressive stats. Any idea why? |
UGA requires testing. |
Um, so do Tennessee and Florida. |
The OOS tuition is less than at many schools (including ones that aren’t as well regarded). |
OOS acceptance rate was 25% this year |
Florida less southern and lots of Jewish people if that's what you want or are Jewish. It attracts NY NJ more. TN easier to get into than UGA but seems to be changing each year so prob irrelevant soon! |
UGA is better. |
Florida politics is affecting FL higher education. TN is not the same caliber as UGA. |
And that's why UGA gets fewer apps? Because it's better? Interesting position. |
Because not enough Jews for people who want that. NY NJ. |
in App numbers are irrelevant. UGA is obviously superior to Tennessee. |
Are you not able to follow the chain? The question posed was why UGA gets fewer apps than UTK. UGA being "obviously superior to Tennessee" would suggest it should receive more apps, not fewer. |
