I think cream cheese belongs on a toasted everything bagel, and I will fight anyone who disagrees.

This is exactly what I thought of too! Also good in a smoked salmon roll with capers. The cream cheese and salmon really complement.

haha me too! I do not do potlucks--I eat what I made because I trust my standard of food preparation and cleanliness and I pretend to eat everything else, unless store bought. lol. Why do people like potlucks?? They're disgusting.

Imagine thinking the pre-cut deli tray from Costco is in any way cleaner or safer to eat than a friend or family member’s home cooked food. It is probably 100x more likely to give you a food born illness.

But a lot less likely to have cat hair in it, or taste like crap.

But, would you eat what your host made? So, no potluck but the host made everything from scratch?

One of my friends in public health said any and all pre-cut fruits and veggies in a grocery store are a no-no. Scary stuff, including hepatitis!

Not to mention absurdly lazy and ridiculously expensive.

NJ resident here. Jersey food is awesome! My friend would always take a huge bag of bagels back to college in WV with her. DC bagels and pizza are blah to put it mildly.

Jersey pizza and bagels a are new york pizza and bagels. Jersey does not have its own food. No one is comparing it to DC.

New Jersey has excellent corn, tomatoes, blueberries, and peaches.

Don't forget porkroll, the king of the breakfast meats.

You mean Taylor Ham?

Five Guys burgers are nasty.

In fact, the only good fast food burger is In and Out.

Bottled salad dressing is a crime.

Funny, manager a my local Chick fil a is openly gay. Her wife comes and she hugs her and says I love you.

Their leadership may be homophobic, the workers and local operators aren’t always that way. Just like gen pop. I would be more worried about homophobes and racist and that make up about 50% of congress than a couple members of Kathy family.

People who are super controlling of their food choices are the most boring people

I think all burgers are gross, haha, but one of my kids agrees with you and the other ranks In and Out a step above McDonalds. They both like Shake Shake - what are your thoughts on those burgers?

Trader Joe's is terrible fast food

How about the Costco-sized jar?!

I have a plastic squeeze container of garlic. It's not my preferred way to do it, I will mince my own, but when I am lazy or in a hurry, SQUEEEEZE. You gotta double the amount though...

My main snobby opinion is that eating steaks at anything over medium means you DO NOT LIKE STEAK. Just order something else.

I'm also slightly judgmental of people who just don't eat seafood. Like the entire category of seafood is out?! Not a single item from the ocean? You are small minded in my snobby opinion.

Costco size stuff is an immediate turn off to me. Seeing a pallet of croissants or gallon container of cashews just takes away my appetite, had I wanted some. People that buy stuff like that either have 4+ kids or are gluttons

Nope. Inn and Out, double double animal style, or bust. And animal style fries. The end.
