The propaganda is not fed to you through conservative TV it’s fed to you through TV in the language of your country of origin.
I am one of the EE PPs and I don’t watch or read news sources from my country of origin nor do I watch fox or newsmax or breitbart. I don’t watch any news but I read plenty, mainly NY Times and WaPo but a bunch of others most of which are either left or center-left. About the only publication I regularly read that wouldn’t qualify for that label is The Economist. And yet somehow I am still not a Democrat! I know it’s hard to believe but people can come to different conclusions than you without being brainwashed. Shocking!

And that is why I tend not to discuss politics even in as cursory a fashion as I’ve done on this thread - any time you do so, people try to either prove to you how misguided you are or want to have a pointless time of a feedback loop of agreement. FWIW I am largely a libertarian politically. Republicans bother me less than Democrats.

The bolded is where you stop making sense. Only the Republicans think there is one true path. The Democrats are for "all in this together, don't suppress other peoples rights" -- and before you say it, they people they fight against are the ones trying suppress others' rights so they can to keep their one way of being the only way allowed in this country. Its really obvious.
