NoVA is HUGE with a ton of clubs.

You need to narrow it down.

Traffic is a beast. It starts at 3:30pm. It takes us 45 min to go 16 miles which is why we narrowed our search to the clubs 10 miles max.

Where will you be living? That is first.

We will be living in Clifton. We are looking for a competitive environment for our daughter Somewhere she will learn and have to work hard.

PWSI, NVSC, BRYC, maybe SYA.

Same list that I was going to offer although given your location and where these clubs usually practice I would start with BRYC.

I'd definitely check out BRYC. Their 03 girls were just in the regional finals and nearly made it to nationals. BRYC has an outstanding girls program. In addition to the 03s, the 98/99 and 01 teams were also at regionals and all made it to finals. The 01s are heading to nationals in TX. No other club had three teams at regionals, so look their way first. Plus, they are the closest club if you'll be in Clifton.

CYA is actually closer to hm and they're in the VDA group. VDA will be getting girls U.S Academy team.

BRYC is in the Washington Spirit Academy VA group, which is also getting a Girls Development Academy team

Clifton rolls up to Robinson SS, which is where BRYC trains, so I agree that is probably closest

Clifton, though in the Robinson SS boundary, is far from Robinson, and even farther from Woodson, which is where BRYC also trains. I think the clubs that train in Manassas are closer to Clifton. SYA is definitely the closest.

Given the location, I would agree with some of the PPs - go to BRYC first. PWSI would be a first choice, but will likely be too far in traffic to get to howison 3x/week. NVSC would be likely be too far in traffic as well, for little benefit. SYA would be okay if BRYC and PWSI didn't pan out just bc it is close, CYA would also fall into that category (not really good, but possibly convenient). FPYC might be an option.

If the 03 team at BRYC is an option I would have your daughter tryout for that group. They may be full as they were state cup winners and regional finalists. SYA or CYA would be good alternatives.
