| Ha, keep trying to make fetch happen. Those 2 are not prominent liberals in any meaningful way. Signed, an actual lifelong liberal who sees what you're trying to do by constantly bringing up Maga. |
+1 |
And laughed about doing Blackface. And used an Aladdin gif to represent Justin (Imagine if Justin used a Pocahontas gif to represent another actress?) |
| There's a poster here who claims they're neutral and gets really offended when you talk about the users on here being either pro-JB or pro-BL. I wonder if they're still here and what they think of the unsealing. |
They are clearly liberal, indicated by their charitable donations. Among others: Social Justice & Indigenous Rights: They pledged $1 million to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights in 2019. They also contributed $500,000 to Water First Education & Training Inc. to support clean water initiatives for Indigenous youth. That is not to say they aren't dumb and hypocritical at times, but they are definitely liberal. And, yes, the nasty anti-women rhetoric on this site is right out of the maga playbook. |
|
The statement was they are not "prominent liberals in any meaningful way". Their major charitable donation was to get ahead of the plantation backlash.
As far as the anti-women rhetoric on this site, you seem to be equating disdain for one woman's abhorrent behavior with disdain for all women. I would assert Lively supporters are more aligned with Maga. Supporting someone who is unethical, demeaning, crass, immoral, can dish it out but can't take, delusions of grandeur (I can go on and on) sounds pretty in line. Personally, my disdain extends to the man heavily involved as well. Reynolds and his perineum are an par. |
| This is not a political issue in any way. I haven’t havent voted for a republican in 15 years - straight dem ticket and I am completely repulsed by RR, BL and TS. BL is clearly racist and crass and frankly crossed the sexual harassment lines more than JB do just knock off the MAGA crap. |
|
Come on, Ryan and Blake are not political. There are so many celebrities who use their platforms to advocate for causes that they care about Ryan and Blake don’t meaningfully do this. Yes, they have made many large charitable donations, but as others are pointing out, it’s usually to get ahead of something. The plantation wedding was a major setback during the George Floyd era. Of course they were going to do something.
But I can think of tons of celebrities who have been more outspoken about candidates or causes they support and Blake and Ryan are not one of them. Yes, they probably vote democrat and clearly have donated to progressive causes but that hardly means they are one of the more liberal or progressive celebs out there. |
Another +1. They are both trash. Read the perspective on a primarily Black message board. |
Yep. |
THANK YOU. |
Your sockpuppeting is a hoot. |
|
Didn't read it that way at all. And Im not MAGA. |
Penn Badgley, Scarlett Johansson, Joe Alwyn, that very young Kennedy, and Jen Garner would have a lot of insight as to how these people operate. The texts between Lively and Swift re Baldoni and the missives written to the Damons, to Affleck, and to the PGA, provoke face-melting levels of secondhand shame. BL and RR in particular think their ham-fisted manipulations and sh!t-level writing are funny, intellectual, and subtle. You can see them grinning to themselves - “god I’m so cute! This is so good!” Neither gets how people with self-esteem communicate. It’s like they’ve never seen good writing - any of them. |
Go to Jeff, idiot. I am not sockpuppeting. |
