Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread

Am I the only one confused here?

From her statement it seems they were “house parties” but were not necessarily HS parties (unclear), and that she went until she herself became a victim.

Because he has proved he can very successfully defend women against powerful men.

Of course you knew that, but you have your pro-Trump glasses on.

Actually, I voted for H Clinton. I just don’t understand why she wouldn’t get a credible lawyer like Ford did.

Also, some of this reminds me of the Duke lax case. Easy group to target - rich prep schoolers - and it all was made up by the DA.

The CPL is looking even creepier today. Didn’t know that was possible.

Could you all stop with the stupid nicknames? For Kavanaugh and Avenatti. It makes the conversation hard to follow jesus.

Sorry, no. I have reported I don’t know how many posts when people refer to Judge Kavanaugh with derogatory names. Those posts remain.
CPL is what Avenatti is. The name fits. He is what he is.

If only Stormy and her CPL had never become famous... remind me, how did that happen again?

Knew a number of Georgetown Prep grads back in the day (early 80s). A pretty thuggy atmosphere. Am sure not all there fit that bill, but lots did. Anyone picturing preppy-types has got the wrong idea. Very jocky, very "bro." A lot of hard boozing and high-fiving. Fill in the blanks from there however you want, but the atmosphere was well known.

The Wapo tracked him down hiding in Bethany.

Good point on Twitter:

I understand victims of sexual abuse being afraid of coming forward because of how people might judge them.

What I don’t understand is victims of sexual abuse waiting until their abuser becomes a public figure to come forward if they’re scared of how people might react.

He looks more like a wimp now than a jockey bro.

It's as if you haven't read this thread or the previous thread where posters discussed and explained why this happens.

Give me a date, location, and a corroborating witness, and I'll start listening.

Because no one wants to see their abuser rewarded. Duh!

It was a rhetorical question. That we know where he is and are not compelling him to testify proves the R's don't want to hear what he has to say. Why? He could totally clear "innocent Brett." If Brett knows he's innocent, as you insist, wouldn't he be begging for his friend to clear him. If I were innocent, I know I would!

"Apparently the Holton yearbook was full of references to alcohol and sexual activity just like the G-town Prep yearbook. These girls were willing participants in the scene, not victims."

But that's not Kav's defense. Kav didn't say, "I messed around with lots of girls and they were all willing". Kav mentioned his virginity and implied that he was a relative innocent. The descriptions of now *4* women don't match that.

No. She said she was raped in '82 but went to parties '82-'83.
