More concerned with appearances than finding out what really happened.

Showing the video on the news does not lead to “finding out what really happened” sorry your sick entertainment was taken away. Those are the final images of their child.

It did reveal the controlling way JR was clutching her, esp when she tried to pull away.

Imho about time to lock this thread. If any new discovery happens, it can be unlocked.

Very suss when people are so controlling.

He has a hearing tomorrow.

This is probably where the whole "their culture" thing comes up. Didn't someone post that the video was asked not to be used by someone or someone's families?

Yes it was a comment made by an anchor on the local news this weekend. I can dig up if you want. Posted a few pages back.

No need to dig up, reasonable request. I heard it too, think it was NBC4.

It’s already out there? Sorry?

JR can barely stand up. He’s not clutching her. Get your eyes checked.

The video did seem to show that Sudiksha was heading to the beach willingly and free to head back to the hotel if she wanted.

Her handing her phone to her friends also backs this up. If she was forced to go to the beach, why would she give up her phone?

I can’t imagine letting my girlfriend get blackout throw-up drunk and letting her leave with a man we just met. And then shrugging off that she was missing the next morning? No, just no. Those are terrible friends.

Agree. The recent videos show she was in no position to consent. That is when friends take you home. And when real men take you home instead of trying to get some action (technically it is rape).

He was also in no state to consent to anything she did to him.

He is twice her size.

And ALIVE.

You hysterical hyenas.!

There is NO evidence he did anything to her but the shite you make up is disgusting.

She very likely drowned with him having nothing to do with it.

How do you sleep at night knowing you are making up things about something you know nothing about? Did you ever consider that you are wrong and he is an innocent young man?

It’s 2025, not 1950. They were both over intoxicated college kids, it’s not “technically rape” you man-hating wacko.

They are all trying to deflect away from her worthless “friends” and her own bad decisions that day and night. This wasn’t some babe in the woods kid, she’s an adult woman.

He must also have to go back to college

He's being detained, questioned repeatedly and his passport confiscated. For 12 days. And he's not been charged, not even named a suspect. Even under DR law, he should have been released after 48 hours. US really looks weak here.

Because the real tragedy here is the "poor boy" who’s now the victim of a witch-hunt, rather than the actual victims involved. Never mind the circumstances or the investigation—let's shift the narrative to the guy who's under arrest. It's truly remarkable how some can twist things to make a suspect the center of sympathy. Maybe if we spent less time watching crime thrillers and more time paying attention to facts and accountability, we'd be in a better place. But hey, at least you're not the one on trial.

Wrong. Some just understand US constitutional rights and how the US should demand the same for this US citizen.

You cannot seriously be this stupid.

You have no US constitutional rights when you are not in the US. Full stop.

The US cannot and will not demand that a sovereign nation accord rights other than the rights granted by that sovereign nation. Full stop. If Trump/Rubio "demanded" this of another country, they would be laughed out of town.

Even under DR law he should have been released. Not funny at all. But continue calling others stupid.
