Snow day Monday?

No one I know has any appetite for any closure. Kids are never in school. This is far from acceptable

You do realize that FCPS can’t control the weather, right? It’s not their fault there’s more snow in the forecast.

I'm seeing 2.3 inches. I guess that's what your husband calls a LOT?

If you are seeing a specific amount it's almost completely wrong and useless - like you!

Just remember we had a light snow storm on Spring day a few years ago. Our weather seems to be under the effects of high sugar.

Sure but they sure do control the rest of the calendar. And it has been a joke!

Please explain how your twisted logic makes the weather FCPS's fault. 🤔

Your statement "this is far from acceptable" is especially bizarre. Psychologists would have a field day trying to analyze that deluded train of thought.

Yes. You're the type to yell up to the sky when it snows to ask for the manager.

But please, be my guest. Rage away. It's entertainment for the rest of us.

I am not that poster, but I think I am more curious about the psyche of a person who seems to enjoy needling people who express concern or frustration that it might snow when we finally just got most of the last storm remnants to melt. Plenty of people are just tired of winter at this point -- it's been an especially cold and wet one and seasonal depression isn't all that uncommon. I agree that it's not the fault of FCPS, but wondering what kind of person is finding entertainment from someone else being annoyed by snow. You seem to have some antisocial behavior tendencies.

I’m not that poster. Of course the weather isn’t FCPS’s fault. We know this. But the SECOND a snowflake drops there will be posters here screaming about lazy teachers and how a potential closure will be entirely their fault. Don’t we all know that these lazy teachers are just basking in all this time off?

Watches issued!

2-hour delay most certainly. Closure still up in the air based on sticking and rain/snow ratio I’d think

I find your type to be even more interesting. Do you not want your kids to receive an education and be in school? Or perhaps you're so obtuse that you can't recognize how frustrating this school year has been for kids and parents!

They can't control the weather but they do control the calendar. Scheduling all the days off in Winter is plain stupid when weather events are possible.

There’s now a winter storm watch through 10 am Monday which is still within when even a 2 hour delay would be so you need to mentally prepare yourselves now that a cancellation Monday is highly possible.

Temperatures will be lower than previously forecast. Snow accumulation totals will be higher as a result. Main roads will be fine but no bus stops on the beltway. Given accumulation period includes Sunday night into Monday morning I predict a Monday morning FCPS announcement of school closure.

Plan ahead boys and girls. Have a confidence level of 95% for this prediction.
