i wouldn't think #3 would be a thing since sensation is less with condoms. maybe with out the condom the explosion will happen instantaneously, and if that's the case, why bother?

Yep, same here. DH and I have used condoms for almost 20 yrs as our only form of BC. The Only time we’ve had unprotected sex was while trying and when I was pregnant. It takes 2 seconds to get one on - Really NBD. If it were, he’d be in a bigger rush to get snipped.

It's not about the time to put one on, it's the feeling. In my 40s, I can only keep it up if it's with a new person. After 2-3x, the lack of feeling will cause ED. I've had a vasectomy so we just get tested and all good to proceed.

I wouldn’t go without condoms even after testing. Most people don’t date monogamously and there could be hidden STDs (HPV ) that may pop up in 6-12 months.

I always wait for a few months with a new partner and until I feel it may become a serious relationship.

Men like the PP should medicate their ED instead of making multiple women they c.m dumps

Of course. I am 47 and dating, though right now in a serious relationship. I use them for both control and for STD prevention. I've never gotten pushback from any guy, and if I did, I would avoid that guy like the plague.

Unfortunately there is no commercially available test for men re HPV. I'm not willing to put myself at risk for cervical cancer or warts and condoms help cut down out that. I got the vaccine as well. And many standard STD panels don't include herpes - you have to ask specifically.

I use condoms for oral sex too. Not risking throat cancer for that.

And theoretically I could still get pregnant and I can't deal with the side effects of BC pills.

So yeah. I use condoms.

At 40 no way I would put up with that type of performance.
