This has been sufficiently weird so far. Some of it is really beautiful and lovely, but also the giant bobble heads of Puccini, Rossini, and Verdi are hilarious.

It's not as grande and dramatic as Paris though, at least not yet. All the performances along the Seine, and Celine Dion singing from the Eiffel Tower, Nadal and Serena riding up the Seine on a boat to deliver the Olympic flame. It was iconic.

This is cool though. I always love the parade of nations during the Winter Olympics because I think they do more fun things with the outfits.

OK I’m sure they have their reasons, but I do not like that the parade of athletes is taking place in four different places.
