Will you watch the opening ceremony?
|
| It's tonight |
| “Tonight” is now over there. You can stream it now or watch it on NBC tonight (tape-delayed). |
It actually starts momentarily, as it is already "tonight" in Italy. You can watch it live on Peacock if you get it. NBC will air a prerecorded package in primetime tonight but by then the ceremonies will be over. |
The NBC package will also be extremely edited. Which can actually be useful during the ceremonies as the parade of nations takes a really long time. But also the NBC Olympics editing tends toward the treacly, inane, and annoying -- I prefer to just put on the live events via Peacock during the day while I'm working or getting chores done, and I can unmute and watch during exciting moments if needed. The daytime coverage tends to be a lot better IMO. |
Yes it's now (tonight over there not tonight EST) |
Yes it's already after 8pm in Italy. |

Its on NBC live right now.
So far the only part I liked was the opening ballet ending in a frieze. |
