The Cold War was a hot war for 40 years on almost every continent. Most reliable sources put the total Cold War death total north of 40 -50 million. The Japanese- China 20-25 million ww2 in China alone, Chinese civil war 1945-1949 7-9 million, Moa from 1949 to his death 40-90 million. The biggest death count by country by century. 17th century The Qing dynasty. Manchu conquest of China had a total estimated death toll of 25 million people 1618–1683, 18th century Qing Dynasty (China) - Dzungar Genocide (1750s) 19th century British empire in India (1880-1920) 80 million split over 19th and 20th century. 20th century Moa 40-90 million. |
