What is this Administration's obsession with promoting Russia about? I understand Trump's desires, ie: graft, but I don't understand the motivations of the staffers carrying his water.

Russia is a third world country with a crappy economy, a derelict culture, and a history of starting wars. It's the last colonial country and an abject example of everything that is against American values, traditions, and culture. We were founded by the descendants of William Wallace not Genghis Khan. The EU will be gone within 5 years. Poland does not need the EU. If Russia were to attack Poland, Polish troops would be marching victoriously through the streets of Moscow within a week.

That doesn’t make sense. We are nowhere near the Europe and not a European country. It makes sense for the tiny European countries to work together. There were no forced language changes (looking at you England). No one had to change their government. It made a lot of things convenient. Of course England couldn’t cut it because they couldn’t boss the other countries around so they saw no point to it. Otherwise it’s pretty smooth with the normal complaints .

It appears that Trump wants to be in EU, not the left. Trump wants certain countries to leave the EU? SO WHAT!

Exactly. They are a decrepit, has-been former superpower, now just a corrupt gas station with some motley ill-equipped troops. Why does Trump feel the need to kowtow to them?

Also, I thought MAGA was all about "preserving Western civillization" - so why do they want to abandon it?
