No more calibri because it is accessible

It’s an indication of what the White House is focusing on because they are completely unable to address cost of living, health care, foreign policy, Epstein, etc

As usual, everything King Midas and his administration touches turns to golden shit.

Cruelty is priceless to this admin.

I hope you are also this vociferous about getting the crazy kids out of elementary school and the violent kids out of middle/high school. Millions of normal kids suffer for over a decade. Or else stop talking about this, which seems to be lacking in actual reporting, i.e., short on statistics but an abundance of trigger words in the reporting.

And if this is so significant, why can't anyone remember that seminal moment in 2023 when the original change occurred?

I wish they would just get the cruel and racist kids out of middle school... oh wait this admin loves cruel racists. Oh well I guess we just can't have nice things with this admin.

Trump has such contempt for disabled people. He forgets that as we age, we're more and more likely to become disabled in some way. You know, like when someone has a stroke, and they lose the ability to speak clearly. Or walk. Or remember what they ate for lunch an hour ago.

There is a memo out there arguing that the administration overlooked a low hanging fruit
(the author literally found a letter!)

Dear Sirs,

It turns out that “DEI” was actually D-E-I-A.

An earlier typo left off the “A” for accessibility. Unfortunately, this omission was not corrected in subsequent drafts. We have forged a committee to look into the matter.

Under Directive 1.000012, we are now authorized to go after and address the “A”. Please see attachment 1 for the list of authorized actions that we encourage you to consider.

Could we please settle on a universal font?

Times New Roman was useful because it was a global standard for decades. Fine, I get it's not as clean as other fonts. But I really do not want font choices to be reflective of politics. The Calibri writer ergo becomes the liberal choice; Times New Roman becomes the Republican choice.

We all need to write words. Choose a standard and let's get on with things.

Well, the feds did. Calibri. Because it's accessible. And that was considered a bad thing because republicans don't think people with disabilities should work, leave their homes, thrive, be happy, etc.

It depends on the use-case and the population, as well as which kinds of accessibility you're trying to correct for, which is why these decisions should be left to the designers who, you know, studied how these things work and made the recommendation to switch to Calibri.

The candy-ass pettiness of this Administration has long ago passed into parody. What a joke.

It costs money (taxpayer money) to redesign and reprint everything using this font. It was originally changed for a reason, the idea being to make government documents more accessible. Now it's being changed back out of pure spite. Idk about you, but I don't personally enjoy watching our money be used for these purposes while this same government tells us there's no money for SNAP or healthcare or education.

How is Calibri “wasteful”? If anything, serif fonts use a little extra toner, which adds up over time.

Doesn't Rubio have something better to do with his time? All of these people, they waste more time on trivial matters. They make a joke of their own jobs.

I feel sorry for the people with low vision and other visual visabilities.

However, I do prefer Times New Roman, and any classic font, to Calibri and other sans-serif fonts.

I'll stick to complaining about ICE cruelty and murders in international waters.

For the lack of imagination these idiots just default to undoing anything the previous admin did with no reason other than spiteful hate.

I realized, that if we act dumb and let the men do the work for us for the next three years — we will be safe. It’s a short amount of time and we are happy to advise you.

You can participate as a female —and still earn interest and buy and enjoy lots of things.

Just lay low ladies.

Is this a Mad Lib? or is this written in Singilsh?

Because the truth is most of us don't know someone who is visually impaired. My good friend's daugher is visually impaired and it makes a big difference.
