It is print vs screen. Serifs are easier on the eyes in print. Sanserif is easier on screen.

Agree - as someone who had to write many papers at the State Dept, it really is easier to read Times New Roman on paper - and in many cases still necessary to put them on paper to limit the distribution of documents. But for public facing documents, Calibri is better. I also like Ariel, especially for emails.

It's days like this where I wonder if, in the course of MAGA laughing at the libs for wearing masks and getting vaccines and staying healthy, as they themselves fight their way through their fourth bout of covid, never stopped to wonder if loss of taste wasn't the only neurological damage they got from it and if in fact repeated covid infections made them stupider.
