The definition-of-a-champs-meet debate is tired, as well. What is the point? The KLI is a fast meet where PVS records will be broken, three Gold Medal clubs will compete, media coverage will be generated and the most decorated female Olympian in history will be in the stands and in the pool. It is the top midseason club meet on the East Coast. Period.

This explanation from you is fine. Except for the “Period.” at the end. Obnoxious. Nobody is trying to take anything away from any of these meets, just clarify what they are and what they are not.

Just a big thank you for having college kids time finals! It was so nice not to have the meet delayed or not be allowed in until that had times.

DP, this is actually hands down the best part of this meet. I wish the PVS champs meets would charge a spectator fee and use it to pay college kids to time finals. There was a whole thread about this over the summer.

Where are the PVS records the PP promised? Some of the winning NCAP times would not even be fast enough for first at RMSC’s meet

The truck flew off the American Bridge! It is floating down the Potomac and the swimmers have shoulders to swim to shore. So tragic.
