I’ve actually never been, but the southwest (and small towns/cities) are things that I haven’t really experienced (besides a vacation to the Grand Canyon and Sedona). We just left Maine. Remote work helped drive up home prices to insane numbers. The natural beauty was astounding but I am happy back in mainstream Midwest. We sold $310K over what we bought for in 2017.
