There was one other thing the APs did and that was ditch their kids. Neither had primary custody and it was the dad instead. My ex doesn't like being a dad, so the AP gave him sex and a place to get away from the responsibilities of his life. There was nothing I could have done to keep my ex. After having kids, he realized he didn't want them.

No. The wife was abused emotionally for years. Several separations and living on different continents. He has some serious childhood trauma. She withdraw sex because of the abuse. He can get is somewhere else, but not for long. The childhood trauma comes up again.
