You are right I don’t work with her, so I will retract that statement. I’m basing it on what he has said (/complained) about in the past. Which upon reflection maybe was his way of making himself feel bigger or like the hero helping her.

Right? I can know he’s lying about 60/70 percent of the time but there’s at least 10 percent lies I fall for and another 10 or 20 percent I probably never realize.

When I was cheated on it was with a VERY obvious "affairing down" situation and it just kind of blew my mind? As a woman (who has never cheated) I could sort of "get it" if you're going for a major upgrade. I was young then though so I've seen the affair down more than up. The "up" while it makes more sense to me would sting in a different way.
