Advanced Academic Programs (AAP)
Last year, DS was in the group of 30 to 40 offered from Longfellow (including one offer I know of from the WL). I believe TJ made offers to most, if not all, of the 30 Longfellow kids who had already made the MathCounts team during the year. Most accepted. Congrats! Your DS will know at least a few kids on day one. : - ) |

Carson Algebra II GPA:4 My son also told that roughly half of his Algebra 2 classmates got the offer |
| Is there is an entire class of Algebra II students at Carson? |
So how many does that mean? 15? |
There are two classes of Algebra two at Cooper |
PP, don’t listen to trolls. Probably a parent who’s bitter their kid didn’t get in. Algebra II Honors in 8th grade will set your child up for the more advanced math courses only offered at TJ. |
Why shocked? Too many or too little? Last year first round announcement was about 29 got in, some reject the offer (including some of the brightest, for various reasons). At the end after the waitlist moved, it end up around 40, include the whole SciOl team. |
