Vogue says skinny jeans are back

Anonymous
Sorry guys, this is my fault, I finally bought a pair of straight legs and wide legs today. Apologies for not alerting the rest of you that this would instantly alter the trend, my bad!

Also, how old are you that you need Vouge to tell you want to wear? **snickers**

You are very rude for no reason. I wear size 2, what size do you wear?

The **snickers** lady is not even worthy of a reply.

Because of her snickers addiction she can’t wear skinny jeans. Her loss.

Good bye to the ugly high waist and obscenely wide leg jeans!

Yay! No one looks good in the loose cuts that have been popular recently.

How mortifying for you.

Yeah, if only PP could be more like the extremely cool mom posting on DCUM in a thread about skinny jeans on a Sunday evening. Won’t you please give us all your fashion tips?

My fashion tips are to pair a Robert Graham paisley shirt with a complementary Beaver Pure Stetson Stratoliner, Hugo Boss slacks, Dr Marten boots and steampunk shades. Be sure to match the belt and socks to the shirt.

You are most welcome.

Ah, yes, vanity sizing.

I am a 10. Fight me, bish.

I’ve never thought they were “out,” per se, but 1) there was a really long period of time where you literally could not buy anything else. So if you wore old boot-cuts or whatever it looked super particularly dated. 2) I’ve kept wearing my skinny jeans - the key all along was just updating the rest of your outfit, specifically shoes and accessories. Skinny jeans, tall boots, tunic top? 2014 called. Skinny jeans, neutral sneakers, and a tee? It’s fine. People have always worn tight jeans!

I will never again imprison my legs in skinny jeans. I remember taking them off and having seam marks down the sides of my legs. Wide legs 4 eva!

Regardless of vanity sizing, a size 10 is still significantly larger than a size 2. So, I guess I am young and slim 😂😂😂 your post is really not landing how you wanted it to.

The picture in the article is hilarious. Looks like she's wearing clown shoes with her super skinny jeans. No thanks! I'll stick with straight leg and very slightly baggy.

THANK YOU for posting a pic in the Beauty and Fashion forum (all other posters take note. this is how to do it!)

I think a man at my office wears those shoes. That whole look is tragic.

Agree, I'm a size 10 and I not slim at all.

I'm okay with the shoes, but those are some low-rise-butt-crack-showing-when-you-sit skinny jeans right there. No thanks.

Vogue still exists? Who knew. Tiktoks algorithm has more say over what's in or not than Vogue could ever hope to have at this point
